Product Sikafloor -Curehard WW is a one part, sodium silicate based clear liquid
Description for curing fresh concrete.

Consumption / Dosage 0.15 - 0.25 l/m /coat (4 - 7 m /l coat).
This figure is theoretical and does not include for any additional material required
due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level and wastage etc.

Instructions
Mixing Product is supplied ready to use.
Application Method / Fresh cast concrete surfaces:
Tools
Apply in a continuous film using a high volume low pressure spray unit as soon as
finishing operations are completed. If surface water Is present a second application
is desirable once the surface water has evaporated and in sufficient quantity to keep
the surface damp for at least 30 minutes.
Struck surfaces from shuttered concrete:
On vertical surfaces after striking shutters always damp down the concrete
thoroughly with clean water and then using a high volume low pressure spray unit

apply the Sikafloor -Curehard WW.
Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.

Notes on Application / In hot weather (above +25C) store Sikafloor -Curehard WW in a cool place prior to

In low temperatures (below +10C) the product may t hicken and be difficult to
spray.
Do not use sprayers, which have been used to spray silicones or release agents.

Do not mix differing formulations of Sika or other curing membranes.
Ensure spraying equipment is cleaned thoroughly before use and residues of
previous membranes are removed.

Sikafloor -Curehard WW must be treated mechanically (from light to heavy shot
blasting depending on the depth of the penetration) prior to the application of a
coating system.
Immediately wash over-spray from glass, aluminium or highly polished surfaces
with water to avoid etching of surfaces.
Only use as curing compound for unregulated specification application.

In hot weather conditions (above +25C), apply addi tional Sikafloor -Curehard WW
to keep the surface wet for the recommended 30 minutes.
When applying, leave no dry spots in order to have homogenous performance.
Touch up where necessary.

Sikafloor -Curehard WW is a curing aid and in the event of excessively hot
conditions and/or drying winds, it is recommended that it is used in conjunction with
a Visqueen sheet for at least the first 24hours, or consideration should also be
given to the use of high efficiency resin curing agent.

Sikafloor -Curehard WW must not be applied before or during powerfloating
operations.
