Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT! For best results print Deck Box
pieces on 110pd cardstock. Print colors.pdf on
any standard printing paper.

Magic Book Deck Box Assembly
Instructions Piece 1

Prep steps:

1. Print Piece 1 on 110 pd cardstock. Make sure Page Scaling is set to None.
2. Cut out along outer edges.
3. Pre crease inner edges with the tip of a mechanical pencil. Consult reference above
for crease lines.
Step 1: Glue the White backs of sides L and M Together. Step 2: Fold side D up so that it makes a Square with side
Fold side O and side C so that they make a 90 degree angle L/M and side H/I from step 1. Glue the white backs of tabs
with sides L and M. Repeat this Process for sides I and H. N and J to the White back of side D.

Step 3: Glue the White back of side E to the white back of Step 4: Glue the white back of side G to the White back of
side D. This should also cover the flaps J and N from the side C. The White backs of sides F, O and K should meet up
previous Step. with the edges of side G to make the book edge effect.

This Piece is Complete. Now Move on to Piece 2

Prep steps:

4. Print Piece 2 on 110 pd cardstock. Make sure Page Scaling is set to None.
5. Cut out along outer edges.
6. Pre crease inner edges with the tip of a mechanical pencil. Consult reference above
for crease lines.
Step 1: Glue the White backs of sides N and O Together. Step 2: Fold side D up so that it makes a Square with sides
Fold side R and side C so that they make a 90 degree angle N/O and sides I/J from step 1. Glue the white backs of tabs
with sides N and O. Repeat this Process for side s J and I. P and K to the White back of side D.

Step 3: Fold side B up so that it makes a Square with sides Step 4: Glue the White back of side E to the white back of
N/O and sides I/J from step 1. Glue the white backs of tabs side D. This should also cover the flaps K and P from the
Q and L to the White back of side B. previous Step.

Step 5: Glue the white back of side G to the White back of This Piece is Complete. Now you will need to glue the two
side C. The White backs of sides F, R and M should meet pieces together.

Instructions Final Assembly

Step 1: Glue the white back of side B from piece 1 with the Step 2: Glue the white back of side A from piece 1 to the
white back of side H from piece 2. Make sure the two white back of Side B from piece 2.

Step 3 Optional: If you want to show what colors your

deck contains, you can glue one of the color rectangles
from colors.pdf onto the spine of the box. Print the Color
rectangles on standard printing paper. The rectangle
should go between the 1st and 2nd topmost spines.

Congratulations you now have your own magic book deck box!
To close the box, insert the flaps from Piece1 inside of the flaps
of Piece two. You can curve side B/H with your fingers to give
the book a more natural look.
