INTRODUCTION
Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what is
the theoretical background or overarching theme):
1. What is the impact of the training process on school administrators use of iPads for
administrative tasks and personal organization in their professional duties?

2. What is the impact of the training process on school administrators beliefs

regarding how teachers should use iPads in the classroom?

3. Are there any differences in school administrators survey responses based on

gender, age, years of experience in school administration and education, highest degree
attained, school classification, or school size?

Purpose of the research: The purpose of this study is to see that how school
administrators use iPads for their professional duties and the potential effects on their
work-related tasks and personal organization.

METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants: The participants consisted of 51 elementary and secondary school

administrators in one of the largest public charter school systems in a southwestern
state of Texas

Procedures: In this study is a survey-based quantitative study, was used to investigate

the constructs.
Data Collection Methods/Data Source: Participants in this study were contacted by
email through the school systems central office, after securing approvals from the
school district and the university

Data Analysis: Survey instruments included multiple choice and Likert-type scale
items.
The survey responses were reported as frequencies. In addition, paired sample t-test
data analysis was conducted to understand the differences in the responses between the
pre- and post-surveys. A one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test was conducted
to see whether there were any differences in school administrators responses by
gender, age, years of experience in school administration and education, highest degree
attained, school classification, and school size. Statistical Package for the Social
Sciences (SPSS) software was used to conduct the data analysis.

RESULTS
Findings or Results (or main points of the article): Findings suggest that school
administrators in this study had positive views regarding the potential of iPads current
and future use in the classroom by teachers. Furthermore, the training process had a
positive effect on the school administrators development of iPad skills and knowledge.

DISCUSSIONS
Conclusions/Implications (for your profession): In this study, receiving iPad training
on school administrators attitudes toward iPad use in their professional duties and in
the classroom by teachers has been examined. This paper also discussed that how
school administrators used iPad and iPad applications in their professional duties
before and after training, their beliefs on how teachers should use iPads in the
classroom, differences in participants responses by demographic and contextual data,
and evaluation of the training process.

REFLECTIONS
Students Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your
school/work):
Firstly, I want to point out that I have never reviewed my own instructors academic
investigation paper. I found more than I was expected and was amazed by the quality
of the study and the information it provided. As we can see from the result part of the
study, that most people did not take the survey who were asked to do so. It sometimes
just a survey for us, however a lot more than for the people who prepared and
conducting on. So next time, my approach will be more positive to surveys.
In my opinion, the main idea of the article is principals need to be technological leader
of the school who is the one can lead school community in introducing, implementing
and sustaining those technologies at the school. As a result, inclusive effects of this
study propose that If a principal want to implement IPad or any other technology to his
campus he needs to provide necessarily trainings and support on going professional
growth. According to study, given that appropriate training is the key for the principals
to adapt technology. In order principals to increase the efficiency of the IPad
usage/technology at the campus they need to attend workshop and lead the teachers in
attending workshop focused on the technology implement.
