I would like to upgrade my HDFC Bank International Credit Card. I have read the terms and conditions
pertaining to Card upgrade and I agree to abide by the terms and conditions as listed below

Terms and conditions

1. Card upgrade would be subject to customer consent by writing to us in the given format as above.
2. Card upgrade would be effective 15 days from the date of receipt of the Upgrade Application from the
customer by HDFC Bank.
3. HDFC Bank would not be responsible for loss of the Upgrade Application sent by the customer.
4. HDFC Bank cannot be held responsible for financial/non-financial obligation caused due to withdrawal of
offer or non-implementation of limit enhancement/Card Upgrade.
5. Card upgrade offer is subject to customer fulfilling all the necessary and sufficient criteria as decided by
the bank at the time of offer fulfillment.
6. HDFC Bank reserves the right to withdraw the Card Upgrade offered to the customer at any time as
deemed right by the bank.
7. Nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the card member
agreement. The words and expressions used herein shall have the same meaning as in the card member
agreement. The terms of this scheme shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained
in the card member agreement.
8. Any disputes arising out of this program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent
courts in Chennai irrespective of whether courts in other areas have concurrent of similar jurisdiction. The
existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HDFC Bank cards division.
9. Customer takes the responsibility to communicate the new card number to all third parties who have
been given standing instructions for direct debit on your existing card number for any service availed
thereon.
10. Customer takes the responsibility to destroy the existing card along with existing add-
on/supplementary cards (if any) on receipt of the upgraded card.
11. The proposed Card Upgrade program would be governed by the existing terms and conditions
applicable for the current card held by the customer and the terms and conditions mentioned here are
over and above the existing terms and conditions.
12. Credit card once upgraded with prior customer consent cannot be re-instated to the old credit card
number.
13. Once upgraded, transactions done on the old credit card would be reflecting in the new card
statement.
14. If I am eligible for a higher product than applied for, I understand that HDFC Bank will provide me a
Credit Card according to the Banks internal guidelines.
15. The offer of upgrade is voluntarily extended by the Bank. Hence request will be entertained only for
the applicable offer pertaining to a customer.
16. All the fields are mandatory.
17. HDFC Bank reserves the right to withdraw the offer of Card Upgrade if the card account is not in
regular status at the time of limit enhancement / Card upgrade.
18. I also understand that on upgrade the existing card features will become invalid and the features of
the new upgraded card will apply.
19. On Upgrade the existing Reward Points will be transferred to applicants JetPrivilege Frequent Flyer
Program Number as provided in the application as per conversion matrix applicable at the time of
upgrade.
