REPORT ON FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Faculty Development Program (FDP) was organized byDoMS at IIT Madras.
DoMS at IIT Madras stands with distinction in its research acumen and contributions. The
department arguably has the largest number of management research scholars in India.
DoMS' research programmes attract a very large number of applicants, including a
substantial number of working professionals. DoMS' 23 faculty members with over 120
research scholars involve in academic research in various areas of management making
distinct contributions to management theory and practice. This has led to commendable
respect to the department from knowledge community world-wide.

Feedback

Onset of the programme it was very much useful not only in terms of research but also in
terms of education. The workshop enabled us to use all moderndaystechnology and helped
us to update our technical skills.

Conclusion: The FDP for MBA faculty member, conducted under DoMS at IIT Madras and
in collaboration with AICTE, The FDP was attended by 30 faculty participants from 30 MBA
institutes from Pan INDIA. The week-long FDP program at DoMS at IIT Madrasoverall it
was very useful.
