IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER
CHAPTER TWO
Prayer is the most difficult, most intensive and most important of all spiritual
duties of Christians. It is not only spiritual warfare but warfare of its own. Prayer
is the key to power and it gives us authority over Satan and his agents. Prayer
generally is said in words, by word God created most things we also are justified
by our words. By not praying we can loose almost all our entitlements from God
including prosperity, health, peace, protection and even salvation.
Prayer is so important that a child of God, disciples, followers and the Apostles of
Jesus Christ know it and they asked Jesus Christ to teach the how to pray
Luke 11:1 prayer is the ultimate force available to Christians specifically and
human beings at large.
Life on earth is full of challenges. Every human being is seeking for solutions to
lifes problems and challenges. To a good extent, some solutions have been
found but only temporarily. The ultimate solution has not been achieved by man
in his own power scientific discoveries have been helpful but have never been all
curative.
The only permanent solution to mans situation on earth is God; the only way to
God is by prayers through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:13 14.
There is yet to be seen such challenges in this world that prayer cannot solve,
that is why the Holy Spirit instructed believers in Christ to pray without ceasing.
We need prayer when we are weak spiritually Isaiah 40:31 when you go
to the almighty in prayer; He will take away your weakness and give you
His strength.
Prayer is our (Christians) greatest weapon against the enemy (Satan and
his cohort) 2 Corinthians 10:4, Ephesians 6:12
We can control.
BIBLE STUDY
The second major responsibility given to us by God is studying and
understanding the word of God Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:15.

CHAPTER THREE
PRAYER HINDRANCES
Prayer is necessary in the life of a Saints, the word of God admonishes you and I
as becoming saints that men ought always to pray and not to faint Luke 18:1.
This is the will of God as stated by our Lord Jesus Christ. Moreso Paul
emphasized that we are to pray without ceasing- 1 thess. 5:17 But David
lamented, saying behold, I was shappen in iniquity and in sin did my mother
conceive me Psalm 51:5. This opens the disability; lack of power, frailty and
the moral weakness found in man known as HINDRANCES This natural and
spiritual hindrances found in the flesh of man and other hindrances affecting the
prayer life of the saints. To look at this topic, we will be examining the following
subheadings:
Prayer Hindrances prevent you from praying and prevent your prayers from
being answered by God, not receiving from God no results. What are the
ingredients or products of prayer hindrances.
CHAPTER FOUR
In other words the disciples know that Jesus is the only one who can teach them
how to pray aright, he is an example for us the believers, we ought to follow His
foot steps.
This is where deliverance prayers come in. This must be done in all its details.
This world is full of evil and there is much need for prayers now.
CHAPTER FIVE
IMPORTUNATE PRAYER
There is no doubt about it, it is certain it is an absolute promise made by the Son
of God Himself speaking with the fullness and authority of His Father.
When we talk about importunate prayer we refer to the book of Matthew 7:7
These three words connote that we must bring to God an undiscouraged life of
prayer which tells our rightness of the things we ask for and also test our sincerity
in asking for them.
Asking, seeking and knocking do not just mean that if we ask for anything we
like, we got it.
The word anything does not mean any thing bad or anything harmful to us or to
others it simply means anything that will be good for us in line with the will of God
that will promote the Kingdom of God.
If you ask any of the things that are good for your salvation of your soul, anything
that brings you nearer to God and ehance your life for good He will give it to you.
