Game: Divide students into two groups, teach teams uses


one side of the whiteboard to brainstorm an advertising
strategy for a real or imaginary product. They must come up
with a slogan and pitch their product to the class.
Teacher will give points for originality, imagination,
incorporating new vocabulary, sentence structure and
enthusiasm to sell their product; then decide the winning
team.
Dicussion: What is the psychology of advertising.
Considering, for example, advertising designed to
manipulate the target market such as toy ads aimed at
