ENVIRONMENTAL BRIEFING PACKAGE FOR SUPPLIERS AND CONTRACTORS


Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation(THPAL) strives to operate in a very environmentally conscientious manner and has
established environmental management system (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 international environmental
management standard. EMS outlines a structure management system to achieve and demonstrate sound environmental
performance by controlling the impact that our activities, products or services have on the environment.
As our supplier, contractor & partner, it is important to us that you understand your role in helping us achieve our vision.
Toward that end, we have prepared an Environmental Policy that establishes the foundation for our environmental
management system and this Environmental Briefing Package that communicates your responsibilities to us as your
partner.

Acceptance: By accepting our Purchase Order and Contract you are committing to meet all of the requirements below.

Environmental Management Fundamentals


1. Contractor/Supplier acknowledges receiving THPALs Environmental Policy (see above) and agrees to
communicate the policy to its employees and any subcontractors or agents who perform services at THPAL
facilities.

2. Contractor/Supplier agrees to ensure their employees and any subcontractors or agents perform services at
THPAL facilities in accordance with THPAL Environmental Policy.

3. Contractor/Supplier understands the importance of environmental compliance and agrees to ensure their
employees and any subcontractors or agents performing services at THPAL facilities are aware of relevant
environmental legislation and regulations, have received the requisite training and carry out work activities in
accordance with such legislation, regulations and training.

4. Contractor/Supplier agrees to maintain records of employee training as required by relevant environmental


legislation and regulations and provide such records to THPAL upon request.

5. Contractor/Supplier agrees to obtain, prior to commencing work at THPAL facilities, all necessary relevant
environmental approvals or permits, present copies of such approvals or permits to THPAL upon request.

6. Contractor/Supplier agrees to immediately notify THPAL of any abnormal conditions found during excavation
activities at THPAL facilities.

7. Contractor/Supplier agrees to accept financial responsibility for environmental remediation activities and/or
penalties resulting from incidents at THPAL facilities involving their employees and any subcontractors or agents.

8. Contractor/Supplier acknowledges they are responsible for the management and disposal of waste materials
generated at THPAL facilities from the activities of their employees and any subcontractors or agents, unless prior
arrangements have been approved by THPAL.

9. Contractor/Supplier agrees to ensure all waste materials generated at THPAL facilities from the activities of their
employees and any subcontractors or agents are managed and disposed of in accordance with THPAL
policies/procedures and relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

10. Contractor/Supplier agrees to ensure their employees and any subcontractors or agents when performing
services at THPAL facilities do not discharge anything to drains and/or sewers without prior approval from THPAL.
Spills and other releases to the environment must be immediately reported.

11. Contractor/Supplier agrees to inform their employees and any subcontractors performing services at THPAL
facilities of the actions to be taken in an actual emergency:
(a) Immediately notify THPAL personnel.
(b) Follow the instruction of THPAL personnel and emergency announcements.

12. Contractor/Supplier understands the activities of their employees and any subcontractors / agents when
performing services at THPAL facilities may be interrupted when such activities violate THPAL policies/procedures
and/or relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

13. Contractor/Supplier agrees to inform their employees and any subcontractors or agents performing services at
THPAL facilities of the significant environmental aspects pertaining to their work activities.

14. Contractor/Supplier agrees to inform their employees and any subcontractors or agents performing services at
THPAL facilities that where applicable, relevant procedures concerning significant environmental aspects are
posted at or near the location where the activity occurs.

15. Contractor/Supplier agrees to ensure their employees and any subcontractors or agents performing services at
THPAL facilities carry out work activities associated with significant environmental aspects in accordance with
THPAL policies/procedures.
