Medard Mulangala

Medard is Vice-president on the Bureau of the Africa

Liberal Network and the leader of the Union for a
Republican Majority, one of the founding parties of
LUnion Sacree pour LAlternance, the new
nationwide political movement in the Democratic
Republic of Congo. He has served as a Secretary of
the Congolese Parliaments Committee on
Economics and Finance and has formerly been
Director of Citigroup in DRC. In addition, he has
served in different ministerial positions including
Minister for Mining and Energy in the transitional
government of 1990-1992.

Olga Tikhomirova

Olga is the Executive director of Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom. For the previous six years
she had worked with Boris Nemtsov, first as a press-secretary of the Solidarity movement (2009-
2012) and then as an executive director of the PARNAS party (2012-2015). She took part in
preparing Nemtsov's independent research report on corruption in Russia, Sochi Olympics, and the
last one Putin War which he had planned to publish and which was eventually finished by his
colleagues. In 2011 Olga organized a mass protest rally and afterwards protests for supporting
political prisoners.

In September 2015 she was forced to leave Russia and since then has been living in Germany. In
January 2016 she became the director of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom which was
established in Bonn in late 2015 by the eldest daughter of Boris Nemtsov Zhanna.
