My expertise is around themes of humanitarian relief, psychosocial support, education, policy support,
civic engagement, community development, youth and capacity building. In accordance with my study, I
managed to develop a lot of skills like staff management, budgeting, communication skills, debating,
presentations, working within teams, decision making, facilitation, training, coordination and event
organization, that can help me fulfilling the job tasks am applying to this post.

I have managed in Jordan and the region projects of international implementers and donors like
USAIDD, DIFD, EU, UNICEF, UNHCR and others. Projects mainly targeted youth, women and families.

Currently, I have led the International Alert and FilmAid International projects in Jordan, as a country
representative. I also worked as a consultant for UNDP in their social cohesion project for mitigating the
impact of Syrian refugees crisis on host communities that includes supporting local initiatives in
peacebuilding and social cohesion, and working with local CBOs to lessen conflict results expected.
Before that I Have worked with Adam Smith International as Area Manager in Tamkeen project to help
Syrian communities build effective governance structures in Southern Syria. Before I worked at ICMA in
LENS USAID Project as a Public Policy Reform advisor, where I follow up with the research and studies
activities for the project as well as capacity building activities. Earlier I have worked for (NDI) as a Senior
Program Officer established and managed a Youth Political Education Program in 16 Jordan universities
with about 3000 beneficiaries. My tasks varied among communicating with partner universities, drafting
agreements, amending teams projects proposals and budgets, maintaining official correspondence with
different stakeholders, assessing the landscape of Youth NGOs, businesses and government-funded
educational institutions and overseeing program (M&E) efforts and reporting.

Earlier, I have worked for IREX as a Regional Program Deputy Director, the program called Social Media
Social Action aimed at building the capacities of youth oriented CSOs and NGOs to better use social
media tools for engaging youth more actively. I took roles that included sub grants committee
membership, oversee program sub grants projects implementation, help developing training guides, and
many other tasks related to day to day activities. Before that I have worked for the Center of
International Development/ State University of New York in Amman, where I have leaded the program
office; my responsibilities were to link program theories to activities implementation, supervise research
team efforts and keep up with their progress and review their products, coordinating meetings with
components leaders, staff, and partners, M and E activities, reporting, activities log frame, activities
implementation and progress follow up. I have also conducted a lot of tasks related to small grants
program under supervision of small grants manager.

All of that experience has qualified me to oversee the MENA region landscape, understand their
difficulties and see by practice challenges that they face both at policy and operational levels.

Hopefully I can get the chance to be interviewed to make sure that I communicate better my qualities
and experiences.
