Instructional Strategies / Student Activities/ Grouping Patterns: Review the three major musical forms that
they previously learned listen to two recordings (Twinkle, Twinkle and Minuet in G by Bach) and identify their
form. First listening example will be done as a class and the second listening example will be done individually.
Students will get into groups at the end of class to compare answers and discuss the form in their groups.

Teacher Input/Modeling: IDO: Helps students with the first example from the assignment.

Guided Practice: WE DO: As a class we discuss what the musical form is for the first listening example.
