RULES & REGULATION

1. All the Orientation Committee shall strictly follow the REGULATION NUMBER 4.

(AS AMENDED 6 April 2005) GENERAL DISCIPLINE OF STUDENT (24 JUNE 1997)

2. All Orientation Committee shall:


- Submit themselves to order of the Main Committee of Orientation Week 2016/2017
and their respective leaders.
- Give due respect at all time to all other Orientation Committees.
- Strictly follow the dress code set forth by Main Committee of Orientation Week
2016/2017.
- Be punctual all the time.
- Uphold good name and image of the University and the whole Orientation Committee
2016/2017.

3. All the Orientation Committee must not:


- Conduct themselves in any manner which is detrimental to the well-being and good
name of the University and the whole Orientation Committees 2016/2017.
- Smoke within the campus area.
- Be absent from duties without justifiable reason.
- Engage in coupling or being physical proximity between opposite genders.
- Have any piercings.
- Have colourful hair

GUIDELINES ON DRESS CODE DURING ORIENTATION
PROGRAMME 2016/2017
For entire duration of the Orientation Week 2016/2017, you are required to adhere strictly
to these guidelines on dress codes. This dress code is to observe when you arrive for
registration:

I. All students are to dress decently and neatly.


II. For female students, skirts should be at least knee length.
III. For male students, the length of hair must not extend beyond their ears and collars.
Inappropriate hairstyles are not allowed.
IV. Female students are advised to bring along black skirt for official ceremonies.
V. All students are required to bring appropriate sport attire (Track bottom, t-shirt) for
sport activities.

Attires that are not allowed during registration and Orientation Programme/Briefings:

I. Micro mini/ mini skirts


II. Round neck t-shirt or inappropriate fashions.

Note: An exception will be made in bush jacket, baju melayu, batik shirts and costumes.
All shirt and T-shirt must be tucked in.

II. Sleeveless blouses/ t-shirt/ spaghetti strap tops/ see through outfits.
III. Slippers and non-strapped sandals.

FULES AND REGULATIONS
DOs

1. Muslim students MUST attend congregational prayers (Solat Jemaah)


2. Temporary matriculation cards must be worn at ALL times throughout the programme until
the permanent student matriculation cards are issued.
3. Students must observe punctuality for ALL programmes.
4. Students must look after personal belongings and valuables.
5. Students are required to attend ALL programmes as scheduled.
6. Students who want to be exempted from sports events must produce a medical report.
7. Respect all religions and beliefs.
8. Students are not allowed to skip the orientation programme. If there is an urgent necessity
arises, the students must refer to their mobile OC.
9. All handphones are supposed to be in silent mode.
10. Students must be with their groups at ALL times and should NOT wander around the
campus alone during the orientation period.

DONTs

1. Smoking is strictly prohibited at ALL times on MMU grounds.


2. Gender discrimination is not allowed.
3. Alcohol is strictly prohibited within the campus ground.

3. There are 3 labs and the operation hours are:
a. 9.00 am to 9. 45 pm (Monday Friday)
b. 9.00 am to 6.45 pm (Semester Break)
c. Close on weekend and public holidays

STUDENT SERVICE CENTER (SSC)

1. 16 forms available.
2. Covers most of the services.
3. Car sticker application
4. Printing of result transcript.
5. Printing of student status.
6. Computer services.
7. Collection of insurance card.
