Thank you for reviewing our account @CalledASpy. Since appearing we have gotten numerous inquiries
what this is all about. Let us explain. As we all know in the most recent Presidential election there are
serious and important allegations the Russian government interfered with and meddled in the result.
There are also allegations, and as we know investigations, whether President Trumps campaign
participated illegally in that scandal. We are not here to discuss or litigate that. There are other places
and forums where hopefully the truth will win out so all Americans will know one way or the other.

However, since the election and even before in a more limited sense, there has been another
concerning trend that has happened both on and off social media. We will focus on social media. And
the disturbing development is a new McCarthyism that has come over our nation and the weakest
minds among us. Or in the alternative, the minds that most seek to divide and distract us from the truth.

We have watched in horror as people, most of whom do not have the slightest basis, background,
experience, knowledge or facts to do so, have repeatedly libeled and slandered good Americans and our
friends with being Russians, Russian Spies, DEZA, traitors, foreign assets and on and on it goes.

It must stop. It is going to stop. This has no place in social media, among serious journalists or in any
intelligent, informed discussion of the important issues relating to the election. As we said, its a new
McCarthyism. No serious journalist, citizen or otherwise, would throw this around the way it is cavalierly
thrown around on Social Media. It very likely is illegal in most states civil law and possibly some federal
statutes as well.

Even more disturbing is some of the individuals engaged in this behavior have some following, some
voice that is heard and in some cases backgrounds which youd think would make them see their
behavior is illegal, injurious and puts themselves in serious financial danger.

So, what are we doing? For now, just reviewing. We are asking you to submit instances to
calledaspy@gmail.com where you have been libeled, slandered or accused inappropriately of being anti-
American specifically relating to the election or its aftermath. What will we do from there? We will
review the claims. We want to be transparent from the start. We are not at this point committed to
litigation. But we will be reviewing that possibility. There are a lot of factors that go into that decision.
However, if we do be eventually go that route be advised of several policies we will follow. First, should
we eventually proceed in that direction we are only going to be able to proceed against the most visible,
prominent accounts. The reason for this is if eventually this does proceed to litigation we are looking to
send a message. The offenders with the most light on them will do that. We are looking at Defendants
who may write a column, or have a lot of followers, written books or been featured on TV or even have
been elected officials. We most likely will be inundated with examples here, but unfortunately we
definitely will not be able to pursue all of them.

We are also looking for repeated offenders. We are aware of some who this behavior and use of
accusations is a regular tactic, but we have made no decision on who or if to pursue anyone at this
point. How will that decision be made? Again, there are a lot of factors involved. Time, money, chances
of success, damages caused, who the offender is, chances of recovery from them, etc. Once we go thru a
period of one to three months of review we will contact those claims we think may have merit and then
have a full discussion of the pros and cons of moving forward and at that point each individual can make
a decision appropriate for them. We have obtained the agreement of experienced attorneys who have
agreed to help us review this project. Be advised at this point they have not agreed to initiate any
litigation yet. This is a screening process and those decisions will be made at a future point, as we have
stressed here. Should there be litigation that eventually results from this project, not a certainty, the
attorney most likely will not be charging the plaintiffs any fees for moving forward and instead would
seek to win attorney fees from the offenders. This can be further discussed at the appropriate time.

So, send us your examples. Again, we will not be able to consider any examples without a screen shot or

of course confidential and would never be released without your permission. If you have repeated
examples or have been accused in repetitive fashion, send us some examples and let us know there are
further examples that exist. If the offender is an anonymous social media account, this is not fatal to the
claim as we have tools that should litigation result we can compel their identity be released. But again,
we are looking for prominent examples even if anonymous such as, in the case of Twitter, many
followers, often retweeted or cited accounts or who interact frequently with those who are identified
and using their real identities. But once again, we will not even begin the review process without
screenshots or the social media post/tweet itself sent as well.

When you contact us, do so with an email we can get back to us on. You may not hear from us for
several months. But so long as there is supporting evidence we will conduct a review of your submission.
You may not hear from us at all, but we will review all submissions properly submitted. And we will
contact those, after review, we think are most egregious and fit the criteria set out herein.

We feel in the end this project could help end unproductive, and more importantly harmful, noise which
is against what America stands for and contributing to confusion about the important truths that need
to be discovered about the election and what happened.
