Twine Unit

Developed for a 6th grade class.

Standard:
4. Innovative Designer d. exhibit a tolerance for ambiguity, perseverance and the
capacity to work with open-ended problems.

6. Creative Communicator d. publish or present content that customizes the message


and medium for their intended audiences.

After watching small demonstrations of different components of Twine, the student


will be able to write a story using Twine.

Goals and Objectives
These standards were chosen because they directly correlate with the overall goals.
Students will be working on a project that fosters creativity and encourages students
to persevere through technology mishaps or difficulties. The second standard
applies because the students are using the software as a way to send a message. In
this case, the students are using the technology to write fiction.

After demonstrating to students on the projector how to create and save a
story in Twine, the students will be able to create and save a story in Twine
into a html file on their Chromebook.

created and you get to choose what happens.
