WRITING TASK 1
The table shows the trend of several styles of vehicle which was chosen by people in England
between 1985 and 2000. The data represent the average distance of person in miles per year.
In 1985, making a trip by car was the most considered vehicle, stood at 3199 miles. However,
there was a tremendous dropped with the using of local bus and other vehicles compared to car,
it was approximately 1/6. Walking and traveled by train was at the same rate, stood at around a
half compared to the using of local bus. The least style used was taxi, just stood at 13 miles. In
2000, just like in 1985 the most vehicle used was car, stood at 4860 miles then followed by other
vehicles approximately 1/8. Train has been used for 366 miles and decreased slightly for local
bus and walking and followed by long distance bus. The least vehicles used in 2000 was taxi and
bicycle.
To summarize, the most vehicles used in 1985 and 2000 was car. The used of total vehicles used
in 2000 was increasing significantly. It has been proven that people traveled more in 2000.
WRITING TASK 2
People now have the freedom to work and live anywhere in the world due to the development of
communication technology and transportation, do the advantage of this outweigh the
disadvantage?
The innovation of facilities especially for communications and motions make it easier to people
to have a mobile life. This essay will argue that the advantages of this outweigh the drawbacks.
The essay will first explicate that innovation brings human to the expansion of creativity because
there will be no limitation to the possibilities, followed by the demonstration of how this issue
may bring disbenefit to communities, namely a decreasing of social skills in humanity, is not
valid.
People tend to live freely because there are many restrictions and regulations which do not
support them in making a new creation. Everybody has their own style in problem solving or
finishing a project due to the needs of company or school. Moreover, with the advance of
technology people will easily keep in touch with relatives in the work field and the company
doesnt need to pay the employee transportation allowance which will give more profit to the
company. Programmers is one of the example of people who work freely, they do not bound by
the labor hours because it is important to keep them fit, and it has been proven by this way, they
can do their job better.
Those opposed to this say that mobility will drive humanity to a selfish lifestyle because theyd
rather talk or meet in social media by chatting or video call applications than in real life. But
there is no evidence yet to support this point of view. For instance, authors who work by
themselves often have a good relationship with their kids and other relatives.
On balance the fact that communication and transportation innovations lead to higher
achievement clearly outweighs the flawed argument that stated it would bring the leak of social
skills in human lifestyle.

Nowadays the differences between countries are becoming less evident because we see the same
TV shows, advertisements, fashion and follow the same brands. To what extent the advantages of
this trend outweigh its disadvantages?
The comparison of entertainment industry between countries is decreasing gradually since the
programs in the TV and mode produced the same image. This essay will demonstrate the benefit
of this similarity regarding to the distribution of fashion trends and technology advance among
the world citizens, the invalid drawback which indicate the culture of kidnapping ideas between
countries, and followed by reasonable conclusion.
The main reason to let the spreading of this resemblance is the knowledge of the citizens around
the world will be competitive, which means some countries will not be left behind in several
subjects such as the improvement of new products and new fashion styles. Moreover, it will
arouse many new perspectives and ideas to create something more valuable than before. For
instance, the introduction of one new farming machine to the world will benefit the farmers who
able to adapt the technology to their own field.
Those opposed to this say that it causes the originality of the ideas are questionable. Moreover,
people will easily imitate the products and tag the products with their own brand, so does in TV
program, the eagerness and the ability to produce a new eye-catching programs will be declined.
However, this reason can not be compared to the world urgent needs. For example, it has been
proven that developing country is still struggling with the lacks beneficial information to support
them in globalization era. The problem though can be resolve by making a products license.
To conclude, the fact that there is a decreasing specialties between countries leads to the
intelligence sharing among the citizens and improved clearly that it is more beneficial than the
imitations problem since there has been a regulation product patent.
