MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
----------------------

To use LiveWire 2, you must have the

following:

- IBM PC or compatible.
- Microsoft Windows 95/98 or Windows ME.

INSTALLATION
--------------

To install LiveWire:

1. After downloading the installer, exit any applications you are

running.

2. Click "Start|Run", then click the "Browse" button.

3. Go to the folder where you saved the installer. Choose that file
and click "OK".

4. Read the Welcome screen, then click the Next button.

5. Read the Software License Agreement, and if you agree to the

terms, click Yes.

6. Pick the components you wish to install.

7. Specify a directory in which to install LiveWire, then click Next.

8. LiveWire is installed in the destination directory.

9. The installer will offer to place a shortcut to LiveWire on your

desktop and/or in the Start Menu.

12. We recommend that you look at the Readme.txt file

in the LiveWire directory following installation.

NOTES CONCERNING LIVEWIRE
-------------------------------------

Z Systems specializes in design and development of software for signal data

acquisition, analysis, and visualization.

LiveWire 2, which was developed using Z Systems software

technologies, is one of the best data visualization and analysis software packages
available today.

LiveWire 2 is a simple, yet powerful software tool designed to visualize and

present time-based data. It supports the importation and exportation of the latest
industry standard data formats such as COMTRADE and EMTDC. It also provides
you with the ability to import and export more general data formats such as
comma separated variable files (*.csv) and text files (*.txt). If you wish,
LiveWire
even provides the means to cut and paste data and data sets to and form other
various applications.

LiveWire 2 provides you with a very intuitive, very robust software environment.
It empowers you with a wide range of advanced features not available in most
similar software packages.

If you experience something you think might be a bug in LiveWire,

please report it by sending a message to support@zsystems.mb.ca.

Describe what you did, what happened, what version of LiveWire you
have, any error messages LiveWire gave (the numbers in parentheses ( )
are especially important), what kind of computer you have, which
operating system you're using, and anything else you think might be
relevant. An easy way of incorporating your system information is
to select Help/Insert System Configuration while composing your
message in LiveWire.

LIVEWIRE SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
-----------------------------------------------

LIVEWIRE LICENSE AGREEMENT

IMPORTANT
CAREFULLY READ THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT BEFORE PROCEEDING.

This document is your Proof of LICENSE and the legal agreement governing your use
of the Software.

You acknowledge and agrees that: (i) Your rights under this sublicense are
contingent upon Z Systems' receipt of the full license fee for the LiveWire from
you and upon your full compliance with all terms and conditions of this Agreement;
(ii) the only rights which you obtain to LiveWire is the limited sublicense right
to use LiveWire as defined in the terms of this Agreement and no title, interest or
other right is granted to you with respect to same; and (iii) neither the execution
and delivery of this Agreement, nor the delivery of any part of the deliverables
hereunder, shall be construed as granting by implication, estoppel or otherwise,
any right in or license under any future versions, updates or derivatives of
LiveWire; (iv) Z Systems will not provide any support or consulting services to you
in connection with LiveWire except pursuant to a support or consulting services
agreement and for an additional fee; (v) this Sublicense Agreement is the complete
and exclusive statement of the agreement between you and Z Systems relating to your
use of the LiveWire and its associated documentation; and (vi) all rights not
expressly granted to you hereunder are reserved by Z Systems.

You shall not: (i) assign, license, sub-license, or otherwise transfer,

voluntarily, by operation of law, or otherwise, any of its rights to LiveWire; (ii)
copy, reproduce, disassemble, decompile, translate or convert into human readable
form, or reverse engineer, all or any part of any of LiveWire; (iii) make any of
LiveWire available in any time-sharing, networking, service bureau or other lease
or rental arrangements whatsoever; (iv) market, sell, distribute, or otherwise
provide or otherwise supply, whether for-profit or not-for-profit, LiveWire, or any
part thereof or any of the associated documentation, to any third party; and/or (v)
make any modification or in any way alter any of LiveWire or the associated
documentation, or create any derivative work from LiveWire. You acknowledges that
its rights of use under this sublicense are subject to your continued compliance
with the foregoing restrictions. Breach of any such restriction or any other term
of this sublicense shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of the
sublicense by Z Systems. In the event that you earn any profit on LiveWire in
breach of any such restriction, it shall account to Z Systems for all such profits.
Z Systems shall be entitled to equitable relief, including injunctive relief or
specific performance, in the event of any breach of a restriction or other term of
this sublicense by you.

ANY AND ALL LIVEWIRE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND NEITHER ZSYSTEMS NOR ITS AFFILIATES OR
LICENSORS MAKES ANY WARRANTY AS TO, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS INTEGRITY, USE OR
PERFORMANCE. ZSYSTEMS, ITS AFFILIATES AND ITS LICENSORS DO NOT MAKE ANY
WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, UNDERTAKINGS, REPRESENTATIONS, OR TERMS, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, WITH RESPECT TO LIVEWIRE, AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM SAME
(EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WHETHER BY STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, USAGE OR OTHERWISE) AS
TO ANY MATTER INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS,
MERCHANTABILITY, REQUIREMENTS OF, COMBINATION, INTEGRATION, COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR
HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, SAFETY, RELIABILITY, CURRENTNESS,
TIMELINESS, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE IN REGARD TO ANY OF LIVEWIRE.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE MAY BE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH, AND STATUTORY LIMITATIONS
ON, THE USE OF LIVEWIRE, AND YOU SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENTIRE RISK OF
THE PERFORMANCE AND RESULTS OF LIVEWIRE AND ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR LIABILITIES THAT
MIGHT ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE USE OF ANY PART OF SAME.

In no event will Z Systems, or any of its affiliates or licensors (including

without limitation its/their successors, assigns, officers, directors, affiliates,
employees, successors, sub-contractors, agents), be liable to you, or will you have
a remedy for the recovery of any direct, indirect, special, compensatory,
consequential, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages, or damages for loss of
business, loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of business information
arising out of the use or inability to use any of LiveWire, even if Z Systems or
any of its authorized representatives, affiliates and/or licensors have been
advised of the possibility of them including, but not limited to, lost profits,
lost revenues, failure to realize expected savings, or other commercial or economic
losses of any kind.

You shall indemnify Z Systems and its affiliates and licensors (including without
limitation its/their successors, assigns, officers, directors, affiliates,
employees, successors, sub-contractors and agents) from any and all claims arising
out of or related in any way to this sublicense or your: (i) possession,
installation, use, practice, maintenance and/or disposal of any of LiveWire; and/or
(ii) any negligence and/or breach of this Agreement.

You are responsible for compliance with all applicable export or re-export control
laws and regulations if you export the Software. This Agreement is governed by and
is to be construed under the laws of the Province of Manitoba. The 1980 United
Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods will not apply.
