Dear Mayor:

This is the committee meeting schedule that will be


held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. All Council Committee
meeting shall begin that afternoon at 3:30 p.m. unless
otherwise designated.

Public Works/Zoning Committee Meeting 3:30 p.m.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance for


Dorchester ditch from Applebee’s to Dorchester Drive.

2. To consider final adoption of an ordinance for


playground improvement at Harmon Park and
Cheatham Park.

3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing


revocation of a 50’wide right of way for Natchez Street
from Hudson Boulevard to Tulane Avenue in Goldonna
Subdivision.

4. To hear an update from the Administration on


improvement projects from Third Street to Willow Glen.
5. To hear an update from the Administration on Sparc
( cost of each project, starting date and date of
completion)

6. To hear from the Administration concerning Sparc


improvements plan.

7. To hear an update report from the Administration


concerning parks & recreation Parks.

8. To hear an update from the Administration concerning


Spray Pads in Frank O’ Hunter Park.

9. To hear an update from the Administration on Fast


Track projects.

10. To hear a report from the Administration concerning


hurricane preparations.

11. To hear a report from the Administration on


proposed Fire Station relocation.

12. To continue discussions concerning the


roundabout on Jackson Street.

Personnel/Insurance Committee Meeting at 4:15 p.m.


or immediately following

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance renewing the


Professional Services Agreement with Hershel Lonidier
for services as a Right of Way Agent and Planner for
the Planning Division.

Finance Committee Meeting at 4:30 p.m. or


immediately following

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing


an extension of the tax exemption for the Restoration
Tax Abatement project for 924 Third Street. (Diamond
Grill).

2. To hear an update from the Administration on the


utility assistance funds concerning CCAC.

3. To hear a financial status report from the Director of


Finance concerning the fiscal year 2010-2011.

Please have your staff note the change in format for the
committee meetings done in compliance with R. S. 42.7.
The Council has directed that the City Clerk may advise
the public of scheduling regarding committee meetings. It
is always that the intention of the Council to convene
committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior
committee meeting unless the Chair of the meeting may
indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public.
Have appropriate members from your Administration
present for discussion.
