Fully Funded Scholarships @ Rs. 60,000/- Per

Month for Full Time PhD Schoars

University of Engineering and Technology Taxila hereby offers Full Time / Part Time PhD
Admissions in the following Disciplines:-

5. Electrical 6. Computer 7. Computer 8. Telecom 9. Software

Engineering Engineering Science Engineering Engineering

Eligibility a) PhD program shall be open to the candidates who have Bachelors and Masters
Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline/specialization recognized by the
Criteria University with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.00 or First division in MSc Engineering.

b) GAT Subject conducted by NTS with at least 60 cumulative score. In case of

non availability of above mentioned tests, the locally developed test will be
conducted by the Departmental committee.

Scholarships Rs.60,000/- per month scholarship is available for selected Full Time PhD
Scholars for 36 months from the date of enrollment.The Endowment Fund
Scholarship Scheme is also available for the above mentioned deciplines at
S.No 5 to 9.

Application form alongwith requisite documents and Postal Order/Bank Draft of Rs.
Submission of 1000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer UET Taxila, payable at HBL UET
Applications Taxila, be submitted to the Office of Dean of the concerned faculty as per schedule
given below:-

i) Written Test in PhD Admissions in case of non availability 25-12-2016
Schedule of of GAT Subject tests, the locally developed test will be at 10.00 a.m.
Admission conducted by the Departmental committee
ii) University test will also be conducted for Endowment Fund
program.
Interview at 10.00 a.m. 02-01-2017
Display of list for the selected candidates 09-01-2017
Last date of Registration 01-02-2017
Start of 1st Semester Classes 14-02-2017

O Application form can also be obtained from the office of Advanced Studies Research
& Technological Development and concerned Dean, UET Taxila.
T UET Rules and Regulations mentioned in Prospectus are applicable.
E NOC is required from employer (where applicable).
S Leave from employer is required for full time PhD Scholars for the stipulated period.
PhD candidates are also required to prepare detailed research proposal on
prescribed format on his/ her preferred research area mentioned at UET web page
