Pre reading Activity Question time!


I will give the students the folder back. I will tell them
that their summaries are great! And that they have to Debate
finish writing them. I will ask them to pass the folder
around the classroom and I will allowed them to look at Writing time!

I will tell them that it was very useful for me! Because
now I know what the story is about! I will tell them that
I will read the book! That I find it very interesting. I will
tell them that I am excited! That I want to start reading it
as soon as possible. I will tell them that in my opinion
the most important Character in the story so far is Carla
7 the counselor, because I think that it is a very good idea
that schools give students the opportunity to talk to
somebody that really cares!

WHILE READING
I will ask the students to read chapter 37 and to work on

I will give them 10 minutes to do this activity and then
we will check the activity orally.

When the discussion finishes I will ask them to read


chapter 38 and then in pairs to do a worksheet. We will
check the activity orally.
POST READING
I will ask the students to write a short comment on each
