Industry versus Nature

The relationship between human and his environment is one of the most controversial topics

of all times. Should the most powered countries and companies from across the world be more

focused in the development of industry or should they aim for a better conservation of nature?

Everyone knows how the development of industry is wrecking many ecosystems from across the

world and that must not be god for living beings.

One reason why nature conservation is more important than the growth of industry is the

pollution. Most powerful companies from develop countries are eroding hectares of forest in

third-word-countries in order to found its industries. As a result, pollution level has increase in

the last 50 years. Governments from all around the world are trying to come to an agreement

about the best ways to implement renewable energy so pollution can be reduced.

The second reason nature conservation is more important than the growth of industry is the

preservation of ecosystems. Furthermore, each sort of living being needs a special condition for

its development. The increase of industries may lead to the decrease of green areas.

Consequently, many species are moving to regions in which they can find better conditions to

live.

Finally, developing green areas its a good way to reduce carbon dioxide in the air. Many

countries like The Netherlands knows that and are taking measurements to growth more green

areas and the results are mesmerizing: in many regions level of pollution has lessen and acid rain

is less common.

On the other hand, people who support the idea of growing industry over the conservation of

nature claim that it is a better deal for the economy of any nation rather than empowering the

development of green areas; thus, its a good way to generate jobs. This is a good point.

However, human being or any kind of living being may not have a comfortable life without a

balance with its nature.

In conclusion, the growth of industry is not as important as the conservation of nature. Living

beings will always need a comfortable area in which they are able to live without disruptive

forces like pollution. Human may also need industry in order to make life even more

comfortable, but that can be achieved respecting nature.
