Devops Architect

The primary objectives of the DevOps Architect is to deliver and automate various Platform services.
The services include technical performance assessments of applications and infrastructure, design
reviews as well as risk assessments. This is a hands-on role, requiring technical skills from the
hardware to the application layer.

Responsibilities:
Work with developers, product development, and operations teams to develop performance
testing strategy and define performance/scalability metrics and scenarios

Publish and perform the DevOps operatoins and certify the release of web applications for
various performance levels

Ability to track test execution, facilitate and drive testing effort.

To conduct Deployments, Prepare release notes, do a sanity testing across the deployed
applications. Automating the tasks that are recurringly done. Conduct white/black/grey box
testing

Device methods to automate testing activities and streamline testing processes

Conduct hands-on testing, analyse test results, document risks, and recommend
countermeasures

Researching, evaluating and developing relevant Automating, Deploying, tools and methods

Excellent communication and reporting skills to executive management on testing activities

and issues.

Must have strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or related technical field (In lieu of degree, relevant
skills or equivalent experience).

Should have Strong knowledge in Docker, Amazon CDN, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Apache,
Apache Solr, Tomcat, MySQL, Mongo, Core Java, Ansible, Zookeeper, Jenkins, Hudson

A Clear understanding of HTTP protocol concepts and TCP dump.Cookies, Sessions, Headers,
Client Server Architecture.

Good understanding of network protocols, design and operations

Should have exposure to JIRA or related tool, Development IDEs..

Atleast 8-15 years of working experience in Devops

Preferred Qualifications:
Application development/Testing background example of languages include C, C#, C++,
Java, J2EE

Understanding of server and client side application development
