Graphic and Human

Since the ancient time,human start to depict sketch.Human start to sketch animals,human and
nature for their own reason.They sketching mostly on the wall of the cave and stones that was
carved.The most reasonable for they sketch is that they believe to the power of spirit.Since
human more creative and more develop in technologies,they create more complex and coloufull
picture.

Music
Music was rooted in human since the ancient times and among of the most important elements in
human culture until today.The important of music in human civilization cannot be separate and
most of the human civilization has their own music identity.

History of Graphic in Music

Before the invention of the Gutenberg printing machine,music publishing was copied by hand
and in that ways,its took time and quite expensive.The publishing of the music did not begin on
the large scale until the introducing of printing machine.Music publishing and printing began
on 1456,and only liturgical chant were printed.Liturgical chant is songs of praise in the Christian
especially in the Roman Chatolic church.The father of modern music printing was Ottaviano
Petrucci.He was a great printer and publisher in music,after twenty years worked on this field in
Venice during the 16 century.Harmonice musice odhercaton A was his first collection of the
work of his music publishing and printing and mostly by Josquin dez Prez and Heinrich
Isaac.Petrucci flourished by publishing mainly Dutch language work rather than Italian as
Flemish works were very popular over the Europe in the time of Renaissance.Petrucci used a
triple-impresion method of printing music.The sheet of the paper was pressed three time,which
mean that the first impression was the staff line,secondly the word and third the
note.Eventhough this way of printing took time and expensive,but the result is very clean and
tidy.On the 1520,in England,John Rastell develop a new single impression printing machine that
can print in one time for printing music.With this single impression,the staff line,the words and
the notes were all part in one piece make its more easier to print.The single impression printing
machine was copy from Petrucci triple impression printing machine.

Graphic in Music on Faculty Applied and Creative Art

Faculty Applied and Creative Art were establish on the 1994 based on the unimas target to be a
role model university and approved in the international level and to be a most chosen university
by student through the good quality on the academic,research and teaching.Faculty Applied and
Creative Art try their best to produced a good quality students for present market qualification
demand.Until now there is for section in the FACA that is Jabatan Teknologi Seni Reka,Jabatan
Seni Visual and Teknologi,Jabatan seni Persembahan dan Teknologi Produksi and Jabatan
Pengajian Liberal.Music program were under Jabataan Seni Persembahan dan Teknologi
Produksi.Music student mostly used graphic when there is function,for example Bridge concert
because of the and Home concert.Music student will publish an advertisement for their concert
using the graphic by the computer
