The meeting has been called to review the progress of work and to sort out the payment issue
for the weight of the bolts & nuts used in the railway portion of RoB during connections of
Railway Composite Girders in place of rivets. M/s Rakesh Construction co. representative
demanded to pay the amount for the nuts & bolts used in place of rivets for connecting the
railway girder as per drawings and approved QAP. Following points given below were discussed
during the meeting.

1. The RDSO/B-11758-6 drawings showing the details of deck slab for WAPCOS
12.90m width having 5nos. of steel composite girder but our GAD has
been approved with 4 nos. of composite steel girder of 10.10m width
with the same span of the deck slab. Please clarify the same with
letter.
2. Construction of dirt wall as per the submitted drawing provided by
M/s Rakesh
WAPCOS and instruction given during the site visit on 28.02.2017.Construction
co.
3. Check the Rate analysis, design and drawings of the sacrificial WAPCOS
shuttering for railway portion submitted by the M/s Rakesh
Construction co.
4. Detailed discussion held on weight of Nuts & Bolts used along with the
mode of payment and rate mentioned in the tender documents para
no. B.7.9 & B.7.10 respectively, page no 142. The measurement of
payment suggested as per the tender condition which is given in the
table below for considering the weight for payment.
