Additional Procurement: Any additional procurement of equipment not listed in the budget
requires additional approval from BPRM. For assistance on such requests, IRC offices should
contact the HQ Global Grants and Contracts Unit.

UNHCR
Rules and Procedures: UNHCR has explicit guidelines to be followed for Procurement
under UNHCR funds. UNHCR has different requirement for the procurement thresholds
and different procurement committees are involved. All IRC offices must follow UNCH
procurement procedure explained in details in UNHCR procurement SOP#
GSC/PROC/012

The procurement rules under World Bank are specific to the contract and the required
deliverables for the program. Country offices working under a World Bank agreement
should review the grant agreement, the supporting World Bank rules and regulations, and
may also contact the Global Grants and Contracts Unit and as applicable, GSC, with any
questions.
