Successfully increased school graduation rates by 80% from s/y 2015 to 2017 by streamlining student records
operations and fully integrating AERIES enrollment. Implemented APEX online curriculum district-wide,
allowing severely credit-deficient students to catch up with credits and graduate high school. Increased
six-fold the identification and processing of AB 216 and AB 1806 students. Applied efficiency protocols on
the issuance of student work permits, which enabled the hiring of 115 students. Partnered with Student Nest,
Inc., which provided college counseling and SAT preparation services for 70 students.

Human Resources Manager October 2014 to March 2015

Soledad Enrichment Action, Inc.
Efficiently processed more than 100 applicants during the implementation of Project Refugio, a federally
funded program for unaccompanied minors. This expanded the organizations workforce by 30 new
employees. Streamlined the hiring of high-risk youths from gang-infested Los Angeles neighborhoods in
conjunction with the LA County Youth Jobs program. This allowed the hiring of more than150 applicants.
Implemented worker safety protocols and workshops, which resulted in less claims for work-related injuries,
therefore saving the organization thousands of dollars in workers comp insurance premium.

Coordinator/Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) December 2013 to September 2014
Soledad Enrichment Action, Inc.
Assisted the COO in organizing our annual Gala Fundraiser to network with our community partners and
receive donations and pledges necessary for the operation of our school. Co-organized with the COO the
annual professional development workshop for all our employees, which included the required Mandated
Reporter training and School Safety training, among others. Worked with the Facilities Manager in drafting
the School Safety Plan for s/y 2013-14. Assisted the COO in organizing the IT Department in preparation for
the initial Smarter Balanced testing. Upgraded schools IT infrastructure by facilitating the purchase and
deployment of Chrome Books as well as the retro-fitting of servers and wifi access points. Due to diligent
budgeting and extensive vendor research, I was able to save the school more than $10,000 with IT
purchases. Processed the Microsoft Voucher Grant which provided the school $120,000 in grant money.
Processed the Mandate Block Grant which annually provides the school $55,000 in grant money.
