NOTIFICATION

MAHARASHTRA HIGHWAY ACT, 1955

No. PSP-2016/CR247/Road-8- Whereas the Government of Maharashtra Considers it
expedient to declare Shilphata-Kalyan-Bhiwandi Starting from Shilphata (NH-4) at Shil
Village in Thane Taluka (District Thane) passing through Sagarli Desai Nilje Katai
Padale Dombivali Netivali Kachore Kalyan Gove - Ranjnoli and, ends at Ranjnoli
Junction (NH-3) Taluka Bhiwandi, District Thane, State Highway (Special) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Highway)

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section (3), (4) and (6) of the
Maharashtra Highway Act LV of 1955, the Government of Maharashtra hereby.

(i) Declare the lands of said Highway, described in the schedule appended here to as a State
Highway (Special) No. .. to be known as the

(ii) Appoints the Chief Engineer, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited,
Mumbai to be the Highway Authority for the purposes of the said Act for the portion of the
said state highway (Special) No.. starting from Shil Village in Thane Taluka (District
Thane) and ending at Ranjnoli Junction of NH-3 at Ranjnoli (Taluka Bhiwandi District
Thane) of the said Highway; and

(iii) Appoints the officers and servants under the control of the Highway Authority so
appointed to exercise the powers conferred and to discharge the duties imposed upon the said
Highway Authority, by or under the provision of the said Act.
