New on the HP site is Docc Hilford and Lisa Chins System 88 cold reading book. Docc is a master of ad copy, it sounds great. Has

Indeed. "Successful members of the PEA or PUA communities understand..." Nice one, Docc.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an innite number of non-solutions, so that rst part really isn't super
helpful.

Strangely, Google failed to turn up anything on "Doctor Lisa Chin." I call shenanigans. lol

Those are both great manuscripts. I use cellular mitosis all the time with my wife as the person I call. It kills.
The seance thing was a bit heavy but the information would certainly sell. What did you expect, real ghosts?

I just ordered this today from Penguin along with other stuff I needed via priority shipping. I should have it within a week, and plan
on posting a review after I go through it. I love things like cold reading, palmistry, hypnosis, nlp, etc..so I think this will be a
worthwhile purchase for me. Stay tuned!

In the past, I have openly criticized Docc's products for the low quality and lack of attention to the details. I have often thought that
his thinking and presentation was sound, but that he was overpriced for what you recieved. I loved "At the Mountains of Madness",
"Cellular Mitosis" and "The Little Black Book Test"(after I worked out the errors). So, once again I gave in and bought one of Docc's
products based on the hype - and I must say that I am not disapointed.

144 Posts There is nothing earth shattering here but he does give you what he promised, a "system" and a game that allows you to do a solid
reading after just seconds of meeting someone new. What I am really surprised at is that you can use this no matter what your
level of experience (someone that is just starting out would be well served to get some other material on cold reading to
supplement this work). He admits that he priced it a little on the high side to eliminate the "curious".

Please read Jheffs review, it is right on the mark. You can read it at http://www.marketplaceofthemind.com/System_88.html

I just got mine yesterday and love it! There are actually two systems in the manuscript and they can be used either separately or
combined. The rst requires you to carry nothing at all. Docc gives you all the information you could ever need to do an effective
reading on the fly. The second part is a very nice system that leaves the sitter with a memento that contains all of your contact
info. Overall, I was very impressed and can easily see myself using this one!

You can even memorize the second part after a while...I like it and will try it out after I rehearse it a few times.

System 88 has a lot of good information for doing readings. It's a good system for intimate readings, although with some
adaptation it could be used as an audience ice breaker.

From a quick, fun perspective I also use Alexandre's System 44. It's a tongue in cheek variation that you can use for fun almost
immediately.

It's fully scripted, easy to memorize and apply. While Docc's approach works best in intimate readings, System 44 is written by Dr.
Wendy Woo and Alexandre as fun games. You get the audience involved, you get people having fun and you can do it for groups or
individuals.

When I saw the ad here are some of the comments that were included:

"System 44 is amazingly accurate. Developed by professional mind reader, ALEXANDRE and clinical psychologist, Dr. Wendy Woo,
it analyzes and denes personal characteristics. The target subject will be in shock at the unimpeachable information shown.

The System
What-to-Say written script
8 Page eBook
2 Pages of meanings

Availability: by request to friends and qualied individuals

Price: Priceless!

SOME REVIEWS:

System 44 is a delight to behold. Dr. Woo is an interesting entity, to say the least. If you don't get something out of this text, then
you simply shouldn't be in mentalism. X
Sincerely,

System 44 is eavesdropping into someone's personal, hidden side. Cleverly disguised as -- no, that would be telling, wouldn't it?
But it is cleverly disguised, and I could have pulled this on my old "No D&D Gamers" group in 1980.

My Japanese cousin (Jonathan Scott) tells me that Dr Woo's name would be pronounced "Hu" and, indeed, has been phonetically
spelled that way in the past. Her mother was recently interviewed on AFKN, and Jon promised to send me a tape; it seems System
44 was mentioned in the interview.

*jeep!

Alexandre, I've replaced my standard intake interview with System 44. Please don't tell anyone. But I'm getting more useful info
than ever!

Dr. Bill Cushman"

If you want to add a fun piece and don't like the Docc Hilford approach I recommend System 44. For my intimate readings I've
added in System 88 as a follow-up for repeat clients, but for my peforming and casual fun I use System 44.

If you have questions send them to Alexandre at: THE BLACK SCHOOL and EXCLUSIVE eBooks

I promised him I would comment, my work here is done.

Hello-

I just wanted to add I purchased System 88, read it on a plane, copied the tick sheet at the hotel with a little white out to clean it up
a bit ie (Your Name Here, kind of thing) and used it that night and it ROCKED!

Granted, I'm pretty well versed in cold reading so interpreting "The Game" was not rote out of the book but it doesn't have to be.
Like any good cold reading book tells you get them talking and then roll with it and that is what "The Game" can do for you minus
having to have any other props, ie Tarot cards, palm reading, etc. Plus I personally like to stay away from the more common
New user
divination devices because people pick a palmistry, or tarot book at the bargain bin at Barnes & Noble and can call you out if your
84 Posts interpretation is different from what another reader has told them or they read. "The Game" in System 88 will be something they've
never been exposed to before 99.9% of the time. It can be swayed to either be scientic in nature or spiritual.

The tick sheet can be used in several ways, as a crutch if your cold reading skills are still in the early stages. It can be used to
further emphasize what was mentioned in "The Game" or it can be used strictly as a give away.

After reading through the book I also think the tick sheet would make an excellent companion to Kenton Knepper's SAR. If you are
not familiar, basically it's an analysis of "subconscious" writings using colored pencils. To be very impromptu, I use a Bic 4 color
pen instead of colored pencils. I think 4 colors is all you need - red=love, green=money, blue=life/health, black=obstacles. It's a
little hard to give interpretations of mauve or periwinkle IMO with a straight face.

Bottom Line- You're paying for a very well, thought out, organized Tick Sheet which in and of itself is worth the price of the book.
On this one, I have to agree with Docc, I'd like to see the price higher so that every mildly curious amatuer or teenager isn't out
there using it (I will go on to say that it has some sexual overtones in it that can be played up if so desired-rather successfully I
might add). Sure variations of "The Game" may be out there but rather than hunt the net for it and try to make a cohesive tool of it,
it's nice to have it in the book as a vehicle to use the Tick Sheet.

This has already been discussed on the Caf... Personally, I was not impressed... I have seen various versions floating around
since the '70's. But to each his own.

Sorry about never posting a review guys. I agree with Dave Schutt on most of what he said. But for the price one should get more
then a small stapled together black and white book. The actual "game" is not original at all and was renamed to the system 88
game. It's a well known personality test known as The Cube. I personally love the cube as it can be used anywhere at anytime on
anyone, and doesn't take too long. The tick sheet is okay and I think it would go well with Kenton Knepper's 'completely cold'. It's a
decent purchase but all in all I'll mostly be using The Cube routine. The book goes into much more detail on it then anything you

I was just wondering if System 88 could be adapted so that it could be performed electonically (eg a client supplying the
necessary information for interpretation by, say, email) or is it really something that is best face to face?

If System 88 could not be used this way, is there a recommended system that could?

@NeilS
If it is based on the CUBE it can be done by e-mail. Why not get the book by Annie Gottlieb? It is 10 EURO at Amazon.
