Obtaining your degree will equip you with the skills and expertise to lead your unit more
effectively or to become a successful division manager or a CEO in a healthcare organisation.
You will be able to manage the balance between business results and healthcare quality and
safety issues.
The programme gives you excellent knowledge of the environmental dynamics of your
organisation and sound business principles that help you lead your organisation towards
operational excellence and lasting results. You will effectively balance the interests of the
numerous stakeholders that often make up healthcare organisations. It is our ambition to

Tuition Fee
Full-time programme 31,000
Part-time programme 35,000
For the International and Dutch students starting in September 2013 the tuition fee for the
full-time programme is 31,000 and for the part-time programme 35,000.
The fee covers the whole programme including courses, international study trip, use of the
MBA facilities, university registration and examination fees. The fee does not cover text
books (an estimate for text books is, depending on the courses you will follow, 600-800),
living expenses and accommodation.
You can pay your tuition fee in equal installments spread over the duration of the programme
(in total 3 installments for full-time students and 6 installments for part-time students).
Early Bird discount
Applications received before April 1, 2013 are eligible for an Early Bird discount of 3,000.
Students should submit the following required documents before April 1, 2013:
a copy of their passport
a letter of motivation
university diploma and transcript
GMAT or GRE
IELTS or TOEFL (unless you are exempted)
UvA alumni tuition fee (10% discount)
All UvA alumni who are applying for the Amsterdam MBA programme at Amsterdam
Business School are eligible for 10% discount on standard tuition fee.
MIF alumni waver
The ABS MIF alumni will be exempted from a few courses (to be decided by the MBA
programme director) and they automatically qualify for the discounted MIF alumni tuition
fee.
The total tuition fee will be calculated based on the remaining number of courses that need to
be taken by the alumni, after confirmed exemptions.
The MIF alumni is eligible to additional 10% discount on the newly calculated fee.
The MBA study trip is optional for the MIF alumni, thus typically it will be excluded from
the calculations (unless the student will opt for taking the course as an elective).
Please note that the results of passed MIF courses examinations, which are the basis for
exemptions for the MBA programme remains valid for three years for full-time students and
five years for part-time students.

for your individual offer.
Pay tuition fee at once
Applicant who are planning to pay their tuition fee at once and before April 30, 2013, will
receive a reduction of 5% on their tuition fee.
Enrolment fee (2,000)
If you are admitted to the programme you need to pay an enrolment fee of 2,000 to secure
your place in the Amsterdam MBA. This enrolment fee is part of the total tuition fee.
Tuition fee is tax-deductible
For applicants to the part-time programme who are working in the Netherlands, it is useful to
know that the tuition fee is tax-deductible. For more information, contact the tax authorities
