Describe firm lines-of-authority and coordination methodology.
Every project at Anderson Mason Dale is staffed with a Principal in Charge, a Project Manager and Project Architect. In smaller projects the Project Manager and Project Architect may be the same
person. All information, work plans, scheduling, quality control and cost control originate with the project manager. The project architect typically is responsible for design development and
technical development of the project as well as assembling the BIM database. The PIC interfaces with the PM on project progress and quality control and with the PA on the design of the project.
All information moves from the client through the project manager. Similarly all information moves from the sub-consultant team through the Project Manager.

Methodology
Briefly describe the firm's budgeting and cost control methodology.
Anderson Mason Dale believes that cost control is at the core of all successful projects. As responsible architects, we understand that we must be stewards of our clients resources. Anderson
Mason Dale Architects cost methodology during design and construction enables us to align our clients vision with their budget. Our work in the public sector is characterized by fixed budgets
often dictated by public referendum. Our success with these projects is due, in large part, to our cost control process and its absolute adherence to budget.
Each project comes with a defined budget and a vision it is our job to see that both are achieved for the project. Consequently, cost control is an integral part of our design culture. Careful
planning and a proactive approach to design are the pillars of our approach to cost. A passive wait and see approach is not acceptable in a construction market that fluctuates widely and rapidly.

There are several parameters that are consistent with our approach to cost and budgeting methodology; they include:

1.) Alignment of Scope to Budget prior to Design

2.) Establish Cost Model before SD
3.) Determine and manage design-to budgets for subconsultants
4.) Periodic Estimates and Budget Scope reconciliation
5.) AMD Cost data base on Colorado Higher Ed projects
6.) Technology Based Material Surveys (BIM)
Briefly describe the firm's approach to document production/quality assurance.
A meaningful quality control program goes beyond regular drawing reviews - it permeates every aspect of a firms culture. Anderson Mason Dales Quality Control Program is comprehensive, it is
understood by all of the employees and it is monitored at the highest level in the firm.

Activity Matrix Standards

A key component of Anderson Mason Dales process is the Project Activity Matrix Standards. These standards provide a roadmap for procedures for every project. The adherence to the Activity
Matrix is mandatory for every project and requires the review of the Project Manager, Project Architect and the Principal in Charge.

Also included in these standards are AMD Scope and Drawing checklists that assist architects with the development of Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Document
drawings. A single source, web-based standards archive has been created to assure consistently well-coordinated Construction Documents. Tested and cost effective details have become the basis
of AMDs standard detail library.

At the core of these standards is an ideology that has been realized and evolved at AMD for over 35 years. Our commitment to quality and appropriate design propositions for our clients is
dependent on judicious and deliberate exploration of the circumstances that define the project complexion.

Building Information Modeling

Anderson Mason Dale uses Building Information Modeling (BIM), specifically Revit, to generate data-based, parametric models for use as the basis for Construction Documents. Our team
leverages BIM to optimize design decision-making for the project to develop the DNA of the building. This process will translate into material take-offs for cost modeling, systems coordination,
project time schedule development and ultimately contractor fabrication processes. To be clear, this platform does not figure things out for us, but engages us to think strategically and deliberately
about how we are putting our building together and how the building as a whole functions, thus facilitating a thorough design process.

Web-based Communications SharePoint

All of our projects are managed utilizing web-based communications. We create a project website, utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, to serve as the central repository for project information. This
site contains all pertinent information, from team roster to project correspondence to project data information. This allows for information to be accessed at all times by team players and
stakeholders. Permissions are established based on level of participation. This method of management and communication has fostered a more comprehensive and integrated design process that
engages our clients and consultants in a more meaningful manner, helping to identify the myriad of issues that define project circumstances and highlight their interconnectedness, thus requiring
collaborative resolution.
Briefly describe the firm's approach to bidding/negotiation and contract administration (if applicable).
Anderson Mason Dale prefers to be involved in all stages of the project including bidding and construction administration. Decisions made during bidding will undoubtedly affect the systems and
quality of the project. AMD utilizes team members that worked on the production drawings to ensure continuity and design intent. AMD utilizes a variety of software to track and manage
information during Construction Administration.

Briefly describe the firm's approach to schedule management.

We know that perhaps the greatest value that we may bring to our clients is facilitating the delivery of your project within your timetable. We organize all of our firms efforts around adding value
to our clients that is fundamentally our most basic charge as practicing professionals. We know that projects are complex and schedules are fluid, and rightly so again, this often adds value to
our clients projects. We take this responsibility very seriously, and have consistently, aggressively pursued in-house technology and process upgrades to allow us to deliver projects on time, with
ever increasing quality for our clients.

All of AMDs projects begin with a detailed work plan and schedule developed with input from users and the client. Schedules and work plans and staffing are updated on a regular basis to
facilitate the timely delivery of the project. Major components of the schedule include:
1.) Work activities
2.) Deliverable milestones
3.) Code Reviews
4.) Cost Estimates
5.) Owner Review Periods
6.) Workshops
7.) Consultant and agency interface
8.) Bid Packages (where required)
Institutional Understanding

Provide general description of the firm's design philosophy (if applicable).

Anderson Mason Dales design philosophy centers on the notion that place-making, designing meaningful places that resonate with the people that use them every day, is our primary
responsibility. Our process focuses on program, the propositional nature of how a building functions, context, the way a building builds on the patterns of a specific site, craft, the tectonic
language of a building and character, the experiential quality of buildings. We pursue this agenda through a rigorous collaborative process that places the user at the center of the design process.
Key Personnel
Provide information about key personnel that will be assigned to university projects. Submit a maximum of three individuals that might be assigned to work on these projects.
NOTE: It is understood that project teams will be built based upon the availability of staff at the time work is awarded. It is more important to indicate the person or people
that will be providing continuity between projects, customer service and acting as primary point of contact than to have secondary staff that might not be assigned a project.
All work is to be performed under the direction and supervision of a licensed architect, engineer, landscape architect and surveyor.
Architectural, engineering, land surveying and landscape architectural firms must have a current Colorado professional license to provide professional services at the university.
For architects and engineers it is mandatory that the license be held by a partner or officer of the firm and all firms must be registered in the state of Colorado,
as per C.R.S. 12-25-304, 12-25-104, and 12-25-204, et al. Work requiring the services of an industrial hygienist may be performed under the direction and supervision of
a qualified industrial hygienist as defined in C.R.S. 24-30-1402.
