0 Introduction
According to Bryman and Emma (2015) in the book Business Research Methods
(International Fourth Edition) in chapter 23 ethics in business research, ethical issues arise at a
variety of stages in business and management research. The ethical issues in business research
concern on two points, one is how should researchers treat people when they conduct research
and another concern are there activities in which researchers should or should not engage into
their relations with them. Discussions of ethics tend to sound worthy, sometimes border on the
ethical and occasionally stray right off the point. Ethics relate to moral choices affecting
decisions and standards and behaviour. So it is quite hard to lay down a set of clear rules, which
cover all possible moral choices. In this chapter, we will introduces the key concepts and ethical
issues arise in research, such as issues of harm to participants, lack of informed consent,
invasion of privacy and deception. The important of ethical principles in business research
which concern the right and privacy of research participants. Ethical researcher gain trust from
participations to consent in the research without deception. Furthermore, is all about the
affiliation between researchers and research participants in the context of ethical principles.
Some research, researchers adopt different stances concerning the ethical issues that arise some
dilemmas in their research. Ethical issues cannot be ignored, in that they relate directly to the
integrity of a piece of research and of the disciplines that are involved.

2.0 Summary
There will be some main issues to be aware and debates about ethics. This chapter is
concerned with the concerns about ethics that might arise in the course of conducting research.
Also in this chapter there is all about some famous, even infamous, cases in which
transgressions of ethical principles have occurred, though it is important not to take the view
that ethical concerns arise only in relation to these extreme cases. Moreover, it explain the
different stances that can be and have taken on ethics in business research. There are four areas
in which ethical concerns particularly arise Diener and Crandall (1978): whether or not harm
comes to participants; informed consent; invasion of privacy; and deception. At last of the
chapter, it mention some of the difficulties associated with ethical decision making.
