Subject: Inmate: KEENAN RAMON GREEN, ZX 742102

To Parole Board,

There is something fundamentally wrong when Green pursued and attempted to murder a police officer is eligible
by statute six (6) years after pleading guilty to forty-five years with thirty-five years to serve in prison. Dont
you agree that a person who ambushed a police officer and pursued him like a hunter to his prey should not be
eligible for parole after doing six years of a Thirty-five years in prison sentence. Going over the video and facts of
this case brought back the memories of how lucky this officer is to be alive. On January 18th, 2011, Officer Jason
Pajero, Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department, did what he did every day prior to going to work, saying
good bye to his wife, who cared so much for him, that she purchased a video system for his patrol vehicle, she
under stood her husband needs for this equipment. At around 8 a.m. that day hes on the streets patrolling ,
when around 8:15 a.m. a BOLO is posted for look out of stolen vehicle. At 8:35 a.m. he spots the vehicle. The
vehicle pulls into a parking, and a second vehicle pulls in the defendant is driving. The officer had no idea both
vehicles were together and both participated in stealing the vehicle on BOLO. When the stolen vehicle exited
parking lot, Officer Pajero ran the tag and confirmed this was stolen vehicle on BOLO. He put on his emergency
lights and pulled the vehicle over. The defendant who was behind the officer passed both vehicles and pulled over
further down road. The vehicle the officer pulled over sped off at high rate of speed, with officer pursuing. When
the officer passed the defendants vehicle, the defendant pulled behind the officer, and the officer in his rear view
mirror saw the defendant put his hand out the window, with a gun and fired two shots. The shots broke the back
window of the officers vehicle, and one hit the Plexiglas behind the officers head. The officer had to get out of the
line of fire and took a right hand turn, and as he was turning he saw the vehicle he was pursuing crash on dead end
street. The officer feeling safe started a k-turn, but the defendant pursued, once again coming up from behind
and firing 7-8 more shots striking the officers patrol vehicle. The officer again sped off shouting over the radio,
clear the air, shots fired, signal 13, requesting all available officers. At this time defendant took off with
the police in pursuit. The defendant exceeded speeds of 70 miles per hour, crossing lanes of traffic, going the
wrong way on circle. After long pursuit the defendant struck a curb and disabled his vehicle and was arrested. His
weapon was recovered with 7 additional rounds.
On October 4th, 2011, he plead to Criminal Attempt of Murder of Police Officer, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault on
Police Officer, Possession of a firearm during commission of a Felony, Theft by Taking, Felony Fleeing and Eluding,
Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of a Firearm by First Offender Probationer. The total sentence
was forty-five years with thirty-five years to serve in prison.
Keenan Ramon Green is a dangerous person. His actions of firing at least 9 times at a police officer and pursuing
him like hunter on track of his games demonstrates his determination to try to kill this officer. Green had several
choices:
1) not steal the cars, but he did.
2) leave his friend and get away, but he choose to stay.
3) When officer pursuing his friend, leave and get away, but again he choose to pursue the officer.
4) Not pull the gun and fire at the officer, but he choose to fire his gun at the officer.
5). When officer turned, to go opposite way, but again he choose to pursue and fire his weapon 7-8 more
times at the officer.

What does this tell you? His determination to try to kill Officer Pajero.
You might be statutorily obligated to consider Green for parole, but you have no reason to allow him to parole.
Deny him his parole, and keep him where he belongs, prison.

Sincerely,
Thomas M. Cerbone
