1-1
Number analysis begins with number analysis selectors. Each number analysis selector
contains several number analyzer entries, and each number analyzer entry contains
several number analysis records.
During a number analysis procedure, the MSCS first matches the number to be analyzed
with a number analysis selector, finds the corresponding number analyzer entry, and then
matches the number to be analyzed in the number analyzer entry. When the number is
successfully matched, number analysis is successful. Otherwise, number analysis fails.
1-2
ZXUN iCX(MSCS) has seven analyzer entries totally. These seven analyzers have the
strict sequence as follows:
l New service analyzer
l CENTREX analyzer
l Private network analyzer
l Special service analyzer
l Local network analyzer
l Domestic toll analyzer
l International toll analyzer
Note:
The CENTREX analyzer entry is an analyzer entry from the fixed network. During a number
analysis procedure, if the CENTREX analyzer entry is selected, the analyzer entries after
it cannot be used. It is not recommended to select the CENTREX analyzer entry during a
number analysis procedure.
In a number analysis selector, the number analysis sequence is very important. A number
is analyzed based on the specific sequence of the number analyzer entries in the number
analysis selector. When a specified number is analyzed, it is required to coordinate number
analysis between the former analyzer and the later one. For example, if the former analyzer
has analyzed and deleted the toll prefix, the later analyzer does not need to analyze the
toll prefix again.
1-3
In the configuration of a number analyzer entry, besides the type of the number analyzer
entry, it is required to configure the attributes of the number to be analyzed. The attributes
indicate the type of the number to be analyzed in the number analyzer entry. In the same
number analysis selector, it is not allowed to configure different number analyzer entries
for the type of the numbers to be analyzed. In other words, one number analysis selector
can only analyze one type of numbers. In the same way, if the corresponding type of
the number to be analyzed in an analyzer entry is type A, this analyzer entry can only be
associated with the number analysis of type A. For example, the calling-number analyzer
entry can only be associated with the calling-number analysis result, and the called-number
analyzer entry can only be associated with the called-number analysis result.
For the relationship among several analyzers, see Figure 1-3.
1-4
Number analysis of ZXUN iCX(MSCS) is divided into the following function blocks.
Number adjust Adjusts a number initially, adjusting the international prefix, dialing
prefix, country code, and the area code of the number. The adjustment
policy is preset by the system.
Calling-number analysis Analyze the calling number for the purpose of distribution.
First called-number analysis Analyzes the called number for the first time before the MSCS sends a
Send Information For Outgoing Call (SIFOC) request to the VLR (only
for the call origination service).
ERC number analysis Analyzes a number according to the RC that the subscriber subscribes
to on the HLR.
Send Information For When a call is originated, the MO analysis module checks what the
Outgoing Call (SIFOC) subscriber subscribes to on the VLR.
check
Second Camel SIFOC check The subscriber may change the number after the MO Camel service
is triggered. This function block rechecks the outgoing call with the
changed number being used.
Roaming-number analysis Triggers the analysis of a roaming number after the GMSC searches
the HLR for the subscriber number.
IMSI analysis Performs analysis based on the IMSI for the purpose of distributing
called-number analysis.
Outgoing-number Adjusts the outgoing number when the local office is going to send
adjustment an IAM to another office.
1-5
Common MO call A mobile station originates a call and the MSCS searches for the called
procedure party.
Trunk incoming call During an inter-office incoming call, the MSCS searches for the called
procedure party.
Call forwarding analysis When a call undergoes early forwarding or late forwarding, the MSCS
procedure searches for the called party.
Roaming analysis Analysis procedure after the GMSC obtains the roaming number.
procedure
Intelligent analysis Analysis procedure after the local office triggers the intelligent service.
procedure
MT call procedure Number display change and adjustment procedure when an L3 SETUP
message is sent to the MS after the MSCS successfully pages the called
party during an MT call.
Outgoing analysis Number analysis and adjustment procedure after the incoming side
procedure occupies the circuit of the called side successfully.
ERC number analysis A subscriber has subscribed to the ERC, and the MSCS performs routing
analysis according to the ERC during the number analysis procedure.

Called-Number Adjustment
The purpose of called-number adjustment is to automatically adjust the numbers dialed
by various MSs. Due to different implementation modes of various MSs and different
dialing modes of subscribers, in many cases, the called numbers and the attributes of the
called numbers carried in the SETUP messages received by the MSCS do no comply with
the specifications. If the MSCS implements number adjustment through number analysis
completely, lots of data need to be configured. The called-number adjustment provides
number adjustment functions with fixed combinations, which include:
l Called-number adjustment > number attribute adjustment
Rule: The attribute of the called number is NES (Network specific nature) and is
changed to UNK (Attribute unknown nature).
l Called-number adjustment > international number adjustment
Rule 1: The attribute of the called number is INT (International number), the
security variable International calling dial method is Forbid to add + before
international prefix, and the call is rejected.
2-2
Rule 2: The attribute of the called number is INT (International number), the
format of the dialed number is + International prefix+CC, the security variable
International calling dial method is Forbid to add + before international
prefix, and the call is rejected.
Rule 3: The attribute of the called number is INT (International number), the
security variable International calling dial method is Without limiting the
international number format, and an international prefix is added.
Rule 4: The attribute of the called number is not INT (International number), the
security variable Dialed number with International prefix + local CC + national
prefix mode control is set to No, the format of the dialed number is International
prefix+local CC, and the call is rejected.
Rule 5: The security variable Whether to delete home MCC where analysis
the MSISDN is set to Yes. The format of the dialed number is International
prefix+local CC, and the international prefix and the local CC are deleted.
Rule 6: The security variable Whether to delete home MCC where analysis
the MSISDN is set to Yes, the format of the dialed number is International
prefix+local CC+national prefix, the number is not a mobile number, and the
call is rejected.
Rule 7: The security variable Whether to delete home MCC where analysis the
MSISDN is set to Yes. The security variable Dialed Number with International
Prefix+local CC Mode Control is set to Yes. The format of the dialed number
is International prefix+local CC+national prefix, the number is not a mobile
number, and the call is rejected.
Numbers meeting any of the above adjustment rules will be adjusted.
Number Pre-Analysis
Number pre-analysis is to further sort and classify numbers according to some features of
the calling number and the called number before called-number analysis.
2-3
International number pre-analysis has a higher priority than common number pre-analysis,
and international number pre-analysis takes effect only for international numbers. In this
way, the MSCS can use different number pre-analysis trees for the international called
numbers and the common called numbers. If international number pre-analysis takes no
effect on an international number, the international number can be further pre-analyzed by
a common number pre-analysis node as a common number.
In Figure 2-2, the parts in light blue are the number pre-analysis function. For the
processing procedure of the number pre-analysis sub-function block, see Figure 2-3.
2-4
When it is required to pre-analyze the calling number and the called number, the original
numbers are pre-analyzed unless special remarks are given. There is only one exceptional
case that the called number needs to be transformed before being pre-analyzed again
after the called number is pre-analyzed and the analysis result is Analysis after number
transform of called number.
The number transformation selector during number pre-analysis is valid only when the
number pre-analysis result is End pre-analysis, no more analysisor Analysis after
number transform of called number. For example, after pre-analyzing the called
number, the MSCS starts to pre-analyze the calling number. If the corresponding
records are found, all number indexes are subject to the index configured in the
calling-number pre-analysis configuration, that is, all number transformation indexes in
number pre-analysis are subject to the configuration in the last record.
The functions of number transformation involved in number pre-analysis are as follows.
2-5
In addition, video calls can be restricted by number pre-analysis, but audio calls cannot be
restricted.
SIFOC
A Send Information For Outgoing Call (SIFOC) request is sent from the MSC to the VLR.
The VLR decides whether to continue or reject the call according to the parameters in the
SIFOC request.
The SIFOC request implements the following functions.
l Obtains the VMSC index, area code, and the roaming type of the subscriber according
to the LAI and the CI.
Obtaining the above information is related to the subsequent processing of the call,
determining the performance statistic, CDR, and even the route of the call.
The VMSC index determines the VMSC where the call is originated. Therefore, in the
VMSC networking model, the related MO call configuration data of this VMSC is used
for the subsequent analysis to process the call. VMSC indexes are configured in the
cell configuration and the location area configuration. The priority of the VMSC index
configured in the cell configuration is higher than that of the VMSC index configured
in the location area configuration. The VMSC index associated with the location area
needs to be queried only when the VMSC index associated with the cell cannot be
found.
2-6
After the VMSC index is obtained, the area code of the current access location area
needs to be obtained. The area code is helpful for judging the number attributes and
adjusting numbers. The area code is first subject to the area code configured in the
VMSC. If the VMSC is not configured with an area code, it queries the mapping table
between mobile network IDs and area codes for the global area code by taking the
MNC in the global mobile data configuration of the MSC as the index.
The roaming type of a subscriber is obtained through roaming analysis and
configuration. During the roaming analysis of the mobile subscriber, the roaming type
of the subscriber needs to be determined according to the area code and the IMSI
prefix of the subscriber. If the subscriber is not configured with such a roaming type,
the subscriber is considered to roam between local areas by default.
An SIFOC request sent from the MSC to the VLR includes the called number and
the service type obtained from the first called-number analysis result. The service
type obtained from the first called-number analysis result is used for the VLR to check
whether this call is an emergency call or a special service. The VLR only checks these
two service types instead of other service types. The VLR analyzes whether this call
is a toll call according to the called number and the area code.
During the MO call access procedure, the VMSC index, area code, and the roaming
type of the subscriber are obtained and stored in the subscriber data table, and they
can be directly used during the actual number analysis procedure.
l ODB check: BAOC, BAOIC, and BAOICEXH
ODB means that the PLMN operators determine the service capability of a subscriber
accessing the UMTS or GSM network.
OSB is a special ODB service, which is implemented by operator-defined
barring-service subscription information in the protocol. Different types of call
restriction can be implemented with different OSB services subscribed for different
subscribers.
Subscription data are checked according to the ODB that a subscriber subscribes
to. OSB/ODB is checked to determine whether a corresponding barring policy is
configured firstly according to the configuration. If the corresponding barring policy
is configured, call barring is processed according to the barring policy. Otherwise, call
barring is processed according to a default policy.
If the subscription information of the subscriber includes BAOC, the OSB configuration
read by the VLR determines whether to bar calls through the configuration. If no
barring policy is configured, BAOC is used by default. BAOC does not restrict the
service whose number analysis result is free special service of the local office, free
outgoing special service, mobile emergency service, or SSP recharging query service.
If the subscription information of the subscriber includes Barring of All Outgoing
International Calls (BAOIC), the OSB configuration read by the VLR determines
whether to bar calls through the configuration. If no corresponding barring policy
is configured, and the call is an international call, BAOIC is used to bar outgoing
international calls. If the subscription information of the subscriber includes
2-7
Barring of all outgoing international calls except those directed to the home PLMN
country, Barring of all outgoing international calls except those directed to the
home PLMN country AND barring of all outgoing inter-zonal calls (BAOICEXH), the
OSB configuration read by the VLR determines whether to bar calls through the
configuration. If no barring policy is configured, the call is an international call, and
the calling and called parties are located in the same PLMN, BAOICEXH is used to
bar outgoing calls.
The MSCS determines whether to bar outgoing calls for other ODB functions
according to the configured policy.
l OSB check: OSBTYPE1, OSBTYPE2, OSBTYPE3, and OSBTYPE4
For the check of barring of outgoing calls for the OSB, whether to bar outgoing calls
depends on the configuration.
l Custom supplementary-service toll-unauthorized check
For the four BITs of the OSB the subscriber subscribes to, they can be explained
according to the system configuration by following OSBTYPE1, OSBTYPE2,
OSBTYPE3, OSBTYPE4, toll-unauthorized, or barring of IP calls. Then the MSCS
checks whether an OSB barring policy is configured to further perform OSB
processing according to the barring policy.
2-8
The attendant console number of a special service needs to be obtained only when the first
called-number analysis result is the free special service of the local office, free outgoing
special service, or the mobile emergency service.
2-9
Calling-IMSI Analysis
The purpose of both the calling-IMSI analysis and the calling-number analysis is to
differentiate and choose called-number analysis trees according to different calling parties
for called-number analysis. The IMSI of the calling party is selected for IMSI analysis.
In the IMSI analysis result, distribution is performed between two half-call number analysis
selectors according to a certain distribution proportion. According to the distribution
proportion, in some calls, the active half-call analysis selector is used for number analysis,
and the standby half-call analysis selector is used for number analysis in the remaining
calls. The calling IMSI analysis result can also be used for number transformation, and
number transformation takes effect immediately after IMSI analysis.
IMSI analysis precedes calling-number analysis, and has a higher priority than
calling-number analysis. The method of selecting an IMSI analysis selector is the
same with that of selecting a number analysis selector during the first called-number
analysis. According to the VMSC corresponding to the LAI where a call is originated, the
calling-IMSI analysis selector in the template of number selectors corresponding to the
VMSC is used for the IMSI analysis. If no calling- IMSI analysis selector is configured
in the template of DAS selector corresponding to the VMSC, the MS-originating number
analysis selector configured in the globally default template of DAS selector is used for
the IMSI analysis.
Calling-Number Analysis
Calling-number analysishas a lower priority than IMSI analysis. Calling-number analysis
is started in the following conditions.
l No calling-IMSI analysis selector is configured.
l The calling-IMSI analysis selector is configured, but calling-IMSI analysis fails, and no
matched data are available.
l The calling-IMSI analysis selector is configured, but no corresponding half-call
distribution selector is obtained.
The rule of obtaining the calling-number analysis selector is similar to that of obtaining the
calling-IMSI analysis selector. According to the VMSC corresponding to the LAI where a
call is originated, the calling-number analysis selector in the template of number selectors
corresponding to the VMSC is used for calling-number analysis. If no calling-number
analysis selector is configured in the template of number selectors corresponding to
the VMSC, the MS-originating number analysis selector configured in the global default
template of number selectors is used for calling-number analysis.
2-10
During an MO call procedure, three categories are available, including Calling Party
Category, inner-VLR Category, and Routing Category.
l Calling Party Category [1-255] comes from the Category parameter of subscriber
data insertion in the HLR. The Connect message of the SCP also carries a Category
parameter that covers the original Category parameter. The CallingPartyCatagory in
an IAM message during an outgoing call also comes from the Category parameter.
l Coming from the Routing Category parameter of subscriber data insertion in the HLR,
Routing Category [1-255] is a custom parameter used for the RC in ERC number
analysis.
l Inner-VLR Category [1-5]: Based on the corresponding relationship configured in
Service Configuration > VLR Configuration > VLR Supported Service Type
Configuration, the VLR coverts Calling Party Category or Routing Category
(according to the settings of security variables) to the inner-VLR Category, which
plays a distribution role during calling-number analysis.
2-11
As shown in Figure 2-4, before formal called number analysis, the number analysis
selectorcan be selected flexibly according to many factors. The selection is affected by
the following factors which are listed by priority:
2-12
2-13
l Mountain Rescue
To route an emergency call out of the office, the emergency call type must be translated to
the corresponding number. In the emergency-call-center number configuration, you can
configure the relationship between the emergency call type and the emergency-call-center
number.
This function block is to translate the emergency call service type to the corresponding
number.
Number Pre-analysis
Different from common call number pre-analysis, emergency call number pre-analysis
does not have the international number pre-analysis node.
Emergency call number pre-analysis is equivalent to the common number pre-analysis
procedure only included in the basic MO call analysis procedure. The method of obtaining
the number analysis selector is the same with that of obtaining the number analysis selector
of the common number pre-analysis in the basic MO call analysis procedure. For the
number pre-analysis procedure for an emergency call, see Figure 2-5.
2-14
SIFOC
The Send Information For Outgoing Call (SIFOC) request for an emergency call is not
controlled. For an emergency call, you can configure it with a higher priority in resource
utilization according to the call type. An emergency call may not have a calling number,
and thus no subscription data of the subscriber can be obtained from the VLR in this case.
The VLR, however, does not reject the emergency call.
2-15
Getting the Area Code and the VMSC Index from the Trunk
The area code and the VMSC index are helpful for judging the number attributes of a call
and call attributes, and adjusting numbers. Therefore, before formal call analysis, the area
code and the VMSC index must be obtain first in the following sequence.
1. Get the area code configured in the VMSC associated with the trunk group.
2. Get the area code configured in the VMSC associated with the adjacent office if failing
to get the area code configured in the VMSC associated with the trunk group.
3. Get the area code configured in the adjacent office if failing to get the area code
configured in the VMSC associated with the adjacent office.
4. If no area code is configured in the adjacent office corresponding to the trunk group,
get the network number configured in the adjacent office, and query the corresponding
area code configuration according to the network number. The network number and
area code configuration are from the signaling point configuration of the local office.
2-16
When the local-office signaling point is in the same network with the peer-office
signaling point, get the area code configured in the local-office signaling point.
Sub-number filter policy: Get the relationship between the current calling number
and the configured sub-number range (in or not in range). If the relationship is
the same with the configured expected result in the sub-number filter policy, the
filter policy is matched.
l One super CLIP index can have many super CLIP setting policies. Each policy has
itself priority. The policy with higher priority will be performed first. If the policy with
higher priority has be performed and matched, no policy with lower priority will be
performed.
2-17
Calling/Called-Number Adjustment
Calling-number adjustment includes the following functions:
l Local calling number + Area code, controlled by the trunk flag LOCPFX (Local Calling
Number Add Area Code)
l National calling number + National toll prefix, controlled by the trunk flag CLRPFX
(Calling Number Add Prefix)
l International calling number + International toll prefix, controlled by the trunk flag
CLRPFX (Calling Number Add Prefix)
Number Pre-analysis
Same with the number pre-analysis in the MO call analysis procedure, for the number
pre-analysis for an incoming call through trunk, see Figure 2-7.
2-18
The number pre-analysis for an incoming call through trunk differs from the number
pre-analysis in the MO call analysis procedure in the following aspects:
l The number pre-analysis for an incoming call through trunk covers only common
numbers instead of international numbers.
l The number pre-analysis selector for an incoming call through trunk comes from the
number pre-analysis selector configured in the trunk group, instead of coming from
the number analysis selector template.
In addition, video calls can be restricted by number pre-analysis, but audio calls cannot be
restricted.
Redirected-Number Analysis
The redirected-number analysis of the number analysis procedure for an incoming call
through trunks is performed on the redirected number or the original called number. For a
forwarded call, a number analysis selector and the type of this number analysis selector
will be got from Incoming Number Analysis Process Index in the trunk configuration. If
the number analysis selector type is for Calling-number Analysis or for Called-number
Analysis, use the number analysis selector to perform the corresponding number analysis
procedure (Calling-number Analysis or Called-number Analysis Procedure mentioned in
the following sections). If the number analysis selector type is for Redirected-number
Analysis, use the number analysis selector to analyze the redirected number or the original
called number. A new number analysis selector and the type of this selector will be got
and immediate transformation of calling/called numbers from the analysis result will be
2-19
performed. Then continue the number analysis procedure with the new number analysis
selector type again. To prevent circular procedure, the number analysis selector type as
for redirected-number Analysis only can be used twice at most.
Calling-Number Analysis
The calling-number analysis of the number analysis procedure for an incoming call through
trunk is performed only on the calling number. Because other information of the calling
party such as the IMSI cannot be obtained during the number analysis for the incoming
call through trunk, the subscription data of the calling party cannot be analyzed.
The purpose of calling-number analysis is to implement called-number distribution.
Calling-number analysis is performed to distribute half-call number analysis according to
a certain proportion. Calling number analysis can also be capable of immediate number
transformation and delay number transformation.
For forwarded incoming calls, the MSCS can configure the redirected number or the
original called number to the calling number.
Called-Number Analysis
If a distribution selector is obtained during calling-number analysis, the distribution selector
is used to perform called-number analysis. If no distribution selector is configured for or
obtained during calling number analysis, the number analysis selector configured in the
trunk group is used to perform number analysis.
The called number analysis for an incoming call through trunk is the same with that for an
MO call in the analysis process and the analysis rule.
2-20
2-21
l During a call-forwarding procedure, if the number analysis result is the MSCO (MSC
common service_G)/IPMO (IP mobile service) service, the route query procedure
needs to be triggered.
l During a local originated-call procedure or an incoming-call procedure, if the number
analysis result is the OVMT (Overlay: MT triggered CAMEL service) service, the
roaming number analysis process needs to be triggered to realize the Overlay_MT
number analysis.
Roaming number analysis includes the procedure of querying the route information of
the called subscriber through SRI/PRN. For the roaming number analysis procedure, see
Figure 2-9.
2-22
2-23
Reconnection Analysis
After the IN service is triggered, if call reconnection is required as instructed by the SCP,
the call-forwarding analysis procedure is triggered for forward analysis.
SCP Uabort
When the IN service is triggered, the call is released by default if the SCP sends a Uabort
message. However, the ERC provides a special function. When this case occurs, if
2-24
the rerouting processing mode configured in the corresponding routing control policy
is configured with a record whose call release cause is 258, subsequent ERC number
analysis is performed on the call according to the reroute DAS in the configured record.
For a roaming number analysis procedure, the ERC number analysis result must be an
outgoing service.
2-25
number analysis selector has a higher priority than the ERC number analysis selector.
No ERC analysis is performed even if the ERC is configured and this roaming number
analysis selector is used for formal roaming number analysis. In addition, this selector
also has a higher priority than the MSRN flow analysis selector. MSRN flow analysis will
not be performed if this selector is valid. The roaming number analysis selector can be
obtained in the procedure for triggering roaming number analysis in the following cases:
l A roaming number analysis selector is specified in the forwarding distribution of the
call-forwarding analysis and used for roaming analysis in the subsequent procedure
for triggering roaming number analysis.
l A roaming number analysis selector configured on the trunk is obtained in the trunk
incoming procedure, and used for roaming number analysis in the subsequent
procedure for triggering roaming number analysis.
If no analysis selector is obtained, the roaming number analysis selector configured in
the template of number analysis selectors corresponding to the VMSC is used for formal
roaming number analysis first. If no roaming number analysis selector is configured in the
template of number analysis selectors corresponding to the VMSC, the roaming number
analysis selector configured in the template of the global number analysis selector is used
for formal roaming number analysis.
When the roaming number is analyzed completely, the number transformation and the
number analysis selector Hop are followed.
The called number analysis results are associated with the bearer number analysis results
with five types of bearers. The RouteByBc function is to select a bearer number analysis
result of the corresponding service type as the current call analysis result according to the
current service type during number analysis.
2-26
A DAS and the type (DAS Type) of this number analysis selector will be obtained
according to the MSRN flow analysis index. The analysis procedure will be different
if call forwarding happens. If call forwarding happens, redirected-IMSI analysis and
redirected-number analysis can also be performed. Different analysis procedures will
be performed according to different DAS types, including redirected-IMSI analysis,
redirected-number analysis, caller-IMSI analysis, caller-number analysis and called-IMSI
analysis. Each Analysis result can enable immediate transformation of calling/called
numbers and get a new DAS and the type of this DAS. If DAS type is called number
analysis selector, the MSRN flow analysis is ended and formal roaming number analysis
will be performed. Otherwise, MSRN flow analysis will continue according to the DAS
Type. To prevent circular procedure, MSRN flow analysis only can be performed for five
times at most.
If the roaming analysis selector obtained, no MSRN flow analysis will be performed, while
formal roaming number analysis will be performed directly.
For the MSRN flow analysis procedure, see Figure 2-10.
2-27
2-28
If no analysis selector is obtained, the MNP number analysis selector configured in the
template of number analysis selectors corresponding to the VMSC is used for formal MNP
number analysis first. If no MNP number analysis selector is configured in the template of
number analysis selectors corresponding to the VMSC, the MNP number analysis selector
configured in the template of the global number analysis selector is used for formal MNP
number analysis.
When the MNP number is analyzed completely, the number transformation and the number
analysis selector Hop are followed.
The called number analysis results are associated with the bearer number analysis results
with five types of bearers. The RouteByBc function is to select a bearer number analysis
result of the corresponding service type as the current call analysis result according to the
current service type during number analysis
2-29
2-30
l Ordinary routing control policy index, which can be further classified into MO, MT and
forwarding routing control policy.
l Reconnection routing control policy index, which can be further classified into MO, MT
and forwarding routing control policy.
2-31
In addition to early forwarding of the gateway office and delay forwarding of the end office,
the call-forwarding analysis procedure is also involved in the following two scenes for
reconnection number analysis: the SCP sends a ReConnect message when the gateway
office triggers the T-CSI service, and the SCP sends a ReConnect message when the end
office triggers a VT-CSI service.
For a call-forwarding analysis procedure triggered by a normal early or delay forwarding,
the ordinary routing control policy is used. For the call-forwarding analysis procedure
that the SCP sends a ReConnect message after the T-CSI/VT-CSI is triggered, the
reconnection routing control policy is used.
The procedure that the SCP sends a ReConnect message after the O-CSI is triggered
is included in the MO analysis procedure, and therefore no call-forwarding analysis
procedure is re-triggered. Likewise, if the call-forwarding analysis procedure is started, and
the reconnection occurs during O-CSI triggering, no call-forwarding analysis procedure is
re-triggered, because reconnection analysis is completed in this call-forwarding analysis
procedure.
2-32
is 258, subsequent ERC number analysis is performed on the call according to the
configured record.
ERC number analysis includes number pre-analysis and formal ERC called number
analysis.
For number pre-analysis, refer to Forwarded-to Number Pre-analysis.
The ERC number analysis selector is the reroute DAS obtained from the configured reroute
processing mode, and then the DAS selector is used to perform the called number analysis.
In this case, reconnection number pre-analysis is performed first, and the used number
pre-analysis selector is a reconnection number pre-analysis selector.
Then formal forwarded-to number analysis is performed, and the reconnection number
analysis selector in the template of DAS selector associated with the VMSC of subscriber
B is used for the analysis. If no reconnection number analysis selector is configured, the
2-33
forwarded-to number analysis selector in the template of DAS selector is used for the
analysis.
2-34
distribution, the forwarded-to number analysis selector in the template of the DAS
associated with the VMSC is used for the analysis. If still no such selector is configured,
the forwarded-to number analysis selector in the template of global number analysis
selector is used for the analysis.
Forwarding Distribution
The purpose of forwarding distribution is to distribute the forward called number according
to some information of the calling party during the forwarded-to number analysis. In this
case, the called number analysis varies with the calling subscribers.
During a forwarding distribution, the forward calling number analysis selector configured
in the template of the DAS associated with the current VMSC is used for this analysis. If
this selector is valid, the original called number of this call is used for the forward calling
number analysis. During the forwarding calling number analysis, the subsequent forward
selector, the roaming analysis selector, and the MNP analysis selector that will be used for
subsequent analysis can be obtained.
If the corresponding forward number analysis selector is not in the template of the DAS
associated with the VMSC, the forward calling number analysis selector configured in the
template of the current global number analysis selector is used for the original calling
number analysis. During the analysis, the subsequent forwarding selector, the roaming
analysis selector, and MNP analysis selector that will be used for subsequent analysis can
be obtained.
The roaming analysis selector and the MNP analysis selector also can be obtained from the
forwarding routing control policy of ERC information. The relationship to which obtained
from forwarding distribution is shown as in the following list.
In addition, if call forwarding happens in the local MSCS, the roaming number analysis
selector and the MNP analysis selector configured on the incoming trunk are of no use.
The selector configured for call forwarding is used instead.
2-35
The purpose of trunk outgoing analysis is to transform an outgoing number and display the
transformed outgoing number. For the procedure of trunk outgoing analysis, see Figure
2-12.
Figure 2-12 Number Analysis Procedure for Outgoing Calls Through Trunk
2-36
This function is used to change the current calling number ( including a country code
and international prefix) to an international number according to the (Outgoing)
Transform Calling Number to International Format (CLRINTER) parameter
configured on the outgoing trunk.
8. Called number delay transformation
When the called number delay transformation selector configured in the outgoing
analysis procedure is triggered, this function takes effect.
9. Called number pre-analysis delay transformation
If the called-number pre-analysis delay-transformation function is configured before
the called number pre-analysis procedure is triggered, this function takes effect.
10. Called number international adjustment
This function is used to change the current called number (including a country code
and international prefix ) to an international number according to the (Outgoing)
Transform Called Number to International Format (CLDINTER) parameter
configured on the outgoing trunk.
11. Outgoing called number immediate transformation
This function is used to transform the outgoing called number according to the
transformation index of the outgoing called number configured on the outgoing trunk
group.
2-37
This function is used to analyze the CLI policy according to the Index Of CLI
Policy For Outgoing Call configured on the route and the subscriber types of
both the calling subscriber and the called subscriber.
The type of both the calling subscriber and the called subscriber can be judged
through two methods, depending on the Judgement Of User Type configuration
in the local office mobile data of the MSC. If the Judgement Of User Type is set
to User number, the type of the calling subscriber and the called subscriber is
judged according to the relationship among the calling number, the called number,
the area code, the country code and the prefix. If the Judgement Of User Type is
set to Roaming type, the type of the calling subscriber and the called subscriber is
judged according to the roaming types of the subscribers at network access. The
subscriber types of local subscribers can be judged in this way. The subscriber
types of non-local subscribers cannot be judged and are set to Unknown.
l Calling number format adjustment
The calling-number transformation policy can be obtained according to the Index
Of CLI Policy For Outgoing Call, Calling User Type and the Called User Type
configured on the route. This function takes effect when the calling number format
is configured in this policy. Number adjustment is performed according to the
number format configured for the subscriber.
l Calling number transformation analysis
If a number transformation selector is configured in the CLI policy for outgoing call
configuration, according to this number transformation selector, number matching
is performed based on the adjusted calling number to see whether the specified
detailed transformation policy is configured for this number. If a special analysis
rule for number transformation is configured in the number analysis result, the
calling number is matched with the special analysis rule. If the matching is
successful, the number-transformation special-analysis-result index is used as
the analysis result. Otherwise, the number-transformation analysis-result index
is used as the analysis result. After the specified result is obtained, the calling
number is transformed according to the configured analysis result.
13. Outgoing signaling number transformation
Outgoing signaling number-transformation can complete the following functions:
l Called number transformation
l Original called number transformation
l Redirection number transformation
l Generic number transformation
During the number transformation of an outgoing signaling procedure, whether
the number is transformed is determined by the signaling number transform
switch under Number Configuration > Number Transform > Number
Transform Switch > Create Number Transform Global (ADD NUMTRFGLB).
If the Signaling number transform switch is set to OUTSIG(outgoing
signaling) , the next step is to find whether the office direction is associated
2-38
Number key filter: Get the number key of the calling number by number key
analysis with the number key analysis selector. Then, compare the number
key with the configured number key by following the number key filter policy.
If the two number keys are the same, the filter policy is matched.
In-to-out office variable filter: This policy is only used at the outgoing part,
because this variable is set at the incoming part while the incoming super
CLIP set policy is being performed, and transferred to the outgoing part. 0 is
transferred to the outgoing part, if this variable is not set at the incoming part.
Sub-number filter: Get the relationship between the current calling number
and the configured sub-number range (in or not in range). If the relationship
2-39
is the same with the configured expected result in the sub-number filter policy,
the filter policy is matched.
l One super CLIP index can have many super CLIP setting policies. Each policy
has itself priority. The policy with higher priority will be performed first. If the policy
with higher priority has be performed and matched, no policy with lower priority
will be performed.
2.7 MT Procedure
The conditions for triggering the MT procedure are as follows:
l The number analysis result displays that the call service type is MSLL (MSC local
and current office service).
l The number analysis result displays that the call service type is MSRN.
After the necessity of paging the called subscriber is determined during number analysis,
the paging succeeds. The MT procedure is triggered after the called subscriber completes
a series of procedures such as access and is ready to send an L3-SETUP message. For
the MT analysis procedure, see Figure 2-13.
2-40
2-41
This function is used to obtain the stream transformation index according to the
combination of the calling number and the called number so as to transform the
calling number. If the stream transformation index is obtained and the number is
transformed according to the corresponding combination, the subsequent CLIP
number transformation is not required.
5. CLIP number transformation
During call termination, the policy configured in the CLIP number transformation is
read. Then matching is performed according to the types of the calling subscriber
and the called subscriber. If the corresponding configuration can be found, the calling
number is transformed according to the configuration result.
The types of the calling subscriber and the called subscriber depend on the
Judgement Of User Type parameter configured in the local office mobile data
configuration. If the subscriber type in the local mobile data of the MSC is set to User
number, the types of the calling subscriber and the called subscriber are judged
according to the relationship among the calling number, the called number, the area
code, the country code and the prefix. If the subscriber type in the local mobile data
of the MSC is set to Roaming type, the types of the calling subscriber and the called
subscriber are judged according to the roaming types of the subscribers at network
access. The subscriber types of local subscribers can be judged in this way. The
subscriber types of non-local subscribers cannot be judged and are set to Unknown.
2-42
2-43
When acting as a GMSC, the MSC Server obtains a route query response in the route
query procedure. When the early call forwarding is triggered, the MSC Server determines
the routing policy of this forwarding call according to the forward originating subscriber's
IMSI and routing category, incoming trunk group, and VMSC index. It analyzes the
forwarding number according to the given routing policy and routes the call to a specified
VAS platform. The routing policy also specifies the composition mode of called number
and that of the generic number and forwarding prefix used by the forwarding call. For the
corresponding application scene, see Figure 2-16.
2-44
2-45
When acting as a gateway MSC, the MSC Server obtains the ERC control policy and the
subsequent MT routing control policy according to the called mobile subscriber's IMSI and
Routing Category subscriber data, incoming trunk group, and VMSC index.
According to the MT routing control policy, the MSC Server analyzes the roaming number
according to the given number analysis selector and routes the call to a specified VAS
platform. The composition mode of both the called number and that of the generic number
are specified by the MT routing control policy. For the corresponding procedure, see Figure
2-19.
2-46
During an early forwarding call procedure or a delay forwarding call procedure, the MSC
Server obtains the ERC control policy and the subsequent call forwarding routing control
policy according to the forward originating subscriber's IMSI and Routing Category,
incoming trunk group, location area, and VMSC index.
According to the call forwarding routing control policy, the MSC Server analyzes the
forwarding number according to the given number analysis selector and routes the call
to a specified VAS platform. The composition mode of the called number and that of
the generic number are specified by the call forwarding routing control policy. For the
corresponding procedure, see Figure 2-20.
2-47
2-48
These parameters can be wildcard parameters, but are subject to the following
constraints:
l The VMSC index must be used with other parameters, and no ERC control policy can
be configured according to the VMSC index alone.
l The trunk group number must be used with other parameters, and no ERC control
policy can be configured according to the trunk group number alone.
l No ERC control policy can be configured according to the combination of the VMSC
index and trunk group number alone.
When the ERC control policy is obtained according to the preceding parameters for call
control in a service procedure, the matching principle below must be followed.
l Longest match first
If no parameters in the configuration can be matched (including wildcard), the
matching fails.
If the parameters in several configurations can be matched, the configuration with
the largest number of exactly matched (non-wildcard) parameters is selected as
the final matching result.
If the number of exactly matched parameters is the same in several
configurations, the matching continues according to the following principle:
l Parameter priority
From high to low, the matching priority of each parameter is as follows:
IMSI Index > Routing Category > Trunk Group > LAI > VMSC Index
According to this priority, the configuration with optimized matching is the final
matching result.
If the IMSI of this subscriber is corresponding to more IMSI Indexes, these IMSI
indexes must be arranged according to the matching priority of the number segment.
First, the optimal IMSI index is used to match the preceding ERC configuration. If the
matching result appears, the matching ends.
Otherwise, the sub-optimal IMSI index is used to match the preceding ERC
configuration.
This matching process continues until the matching ends or until no IMSI index is
available.
For example, when the following configuration exists,
IMSI (46003123) => IMSI Index 1
IMSI (4600313) => IMSI Index 2
IMSI (460031) => IMSI Index 3
Configuration 1: IMSIIndex1 RC(40) => ERC Index 1
Configuration 2: IMSIIndex2 RC(40) LAI(460031234) => ERC Index 2
Configuration 3: IMSIIndex3 RC(41) TRUNKGRP(12) => ERC Index 3
2-49
2-50
In principle, the ERC number analysis is slightly different for the CAMEL4, CAMEL3 and
OVERLAY services.
l For CAMEL4, the special processing that the SCP returns an ABORT message is not
implemented during the ERC number analysis.
When the calling MCC module determines that whether the call service type of the
called number is MO_Overlay service or the recharge query service, the calling MCC
also needs to obtain the ERC control index and carries it to the forward analysis
procedure. When the MCF triggers the MO_Overlay service or the recharge query
service upon reception of the Setup message from the MCC, the following requirement
must be implemented: ERC configuration, special processing when the SCP returns
an ABORT message, the processing when the SCP returns a Connection message,
and the processing when reconnection number analysis fails.
An analysis on the calling number of a non-CAMEL subscriber in the calling MCC
module shows that the call service type is MO_Overlay service. When the calling
MCC module triggers the MO_Overlay service, the following requirements are not
implemented: ERC configuration, special processing when the SCP returns an
ABORT message, processing when the SCP returns a Connect message, and
processing when reconnection number analysis fails.
If the call service type is MT_Overlay, the following requirements are not implemented:
ERC configuration, special processing when the SCP returns an ABORT message,
processing when the SCP returns a Connect message, and processing when
reconnection number analysis fails.
l For CAMEL3, the following cases are not considered: special processing of
DCSI and NCSI when the SCP returns an ABORT message (that is, during the
CAMEL_4_MO_Dialled_Service service and the CAMEL_4_CF_Dialled_Services
service of the CCF module, it is not required to pass the NeedUabortIndFg
flag in the basic call data to the SSF and CSA_SSF modules) and special
processing of VTCSI when the SCP returns an ABORT message (that is, during the
CAMEL_ICH_MSC_INIT service of the CCF module, it is not required to pass the
NeedUabortIndFg flag in the basic call data to the SSF and CSA_SSF modules).
l In this solution, the MO_overlay service and the recharge query service originated by
the MCC and triggered by the MCF, and the VTCSI reconnection processed by the
MCF are easy to be implemented. If those are not implemented, special processing
must be implemented for this case; otherwise, an error case of neither existing
processing nor new processing will occur.
In the case of MO_overlay and CAMEL reconnection, the number carried by the SCP
is preferred as a generic number in the call routing and rerouting procedure. If the
SCP does not carry a generic number, the generic number is not filled in. For this
procedure, the composition mode of the generic number in the ERC routing policy
and the number analysis result is not used.
2-51
Application Scene
For the application scene of this function, see Figure 2-21.
After receiving the called number, the MSCS obtains the corresponding DAS according
to the call scene and starts the number analysis procedure. As shown in Figure 2-21,
the received called number is 62-025-5287-1234. The DAS obtained according to the call
scene is A. The maintenance engineer has configured a common DAS C (the final routing
information can be obtained from the common DAS C). The MSCS finally obtains the
routing information from the number analysis result after two DAS hops: First, the MSCS
uses DAS A to analyze the number 62, and obtains the result number transformation:
delete the first two digits and new DAS B. Then the MSCS uses DAS B to analyze the
number 025, and obtains the result number transformation: delete the first three digits
and new DAS C. Finally, the MSCS uses DAS C to analyze the number 5287, and obtains
the result routing information.
If the called number received by the MSCS is 025-5287-1234 in a certain call scene, the
maintenance engineer can configure the corresponding DAS to B. If the called number
received by the MSCS is 5287-1234 in a certain call scene, the maintenance engineer can
configure the corresponding DAS to C. The configuration data of called number analysis
2-52
can be maintained conveniently through the common DAS C. For the DAS hop flow, see
Figure 2-22.
In the preceding flowchart, the MSCS obtains the DAS according to the call scene and
starts number analysis after the called number is received. If a new number analysis
selector is configured in the called number analysis result, it means that the DAS Hop
function is enabled for number analysis. In this case, the MSCS uses the new number
analysis selector to continue number analysis. Besides the new number analysis selector
in the number analysis result, the MSCS only records Called Number Transformation
Index and Calling Number Transformation Index. When the immediate transformation
of the calling number and that of the called number (see the called number transformation
flow and the calling number transformation flow) are completed, the new number analysis
selector is used to analyze the transformed called number. The MSCS ignores the other
information configured in the number analysis result.
Every time the MSCS obtains a new number analysis selector during number analysis,
the DAS hop counter adds one. If the number of continuous DAS hops in this number
analysis procedure exceeds the maximum number (configurable value) set during the
global configuration, number analysis fails and no new number analysis selector will be
used to continue the analysis.
Especially, when a new number analysis selector is used to continue the called number
analysis, the MSCS ignores the maximum number length, the call service type and the
assistant number analysis selector in the number analysis result till the last number
2-53
analysis. The maximum number length, the call service type and the assistant number
analysis selector are available only during the outgoing routing information analysis.
That is to say, the preceding information is specific to the outgoing route information. In
addition, when the assistant number analysis selector is used for dual-homing number
analysis, the DAS Hop does not add one. When a new number analysis selector is used
to continue number analysis subsequently, the DAS hop adds one.
Especially, when a new number analysis selector is used to continue the called number
analysis, the MSCS records Calling Number Transformation Index to transform the calling
number. If the MSCS has not received the calling number, the MSCS records Calling
Number Transformation Index and does not transform the calling number until the calling
number is received. One number analysis process may involve continuous DAS Hops, and
the continuous DAS Hops may involve multiple calling number transformations. At present,
the maximum number of DAS Hops during one number analysis is 12. Therefore, the
MSCS needs to record up to 12 calling number transformation indexes and then performs
multiple number transformations after the calling number is received.
Especially, for an incoming call with the interoffice signaling type as ISUP/BICC, this
number analysis is treated as a whole. For example, this number analysis involves three
DASs: DAS A, DAS B and DAS C. When number analysis proceeds to DAS C and the
length of the analyzed number is less than the minimum number length, the ISUP/BICC
sets the timer to wait for the subsequent called number. If the subsequent number is
obtained or a timer times out, the system starts number analysis again from DAS A.
During number analysis, the ISUP/BICC module uses a temporary buffer. If the number
analysis result shows that the subsequent number is required, all the temporary results of
this preceding hop analysis will be cleared for the new number re-analysis.
You can perform flexible configuration according to your needs to obtain a desired effect.
2-54
2-55
This function is implemented completely by using ERC number analysis, and the system
does not provide any special processing for this scene.
Scene 2
When the IN service call is reconnected, a reconnection analyzer is used for analysis
upon receipt of the CONNECTION message from the SCP. If the analysis fails, an
originating analyzer or other analyzer can be used to continue the analysis according to
the configuration.
The reconnection analyzers (Ai) in different IMSI segments are used to analyze the
reconnection numbers that are in different IMSI number sections and require different
routes or different number transformation. A unified number analysis selector (for
example, B) is used to analyze the reconnection numbers that are in different IMSI
segments and require the same route or the same number transformations.
When the IN service call is reconnected, the reconnection number in the CONNECT
message returned by the SCP is analyzed by the number analysis selector B, and not
analyzed by the number analysis selector Ai. The MSCS uses the reconnection analyzer
Ai for number analysis. If the analysis fails, the MSCS uses the number analysis selector
B to continue the analysis.
2-56
In this way, the numbers in the number analysis selector B are not required to be analyzed
respectively in the reconnection number analysis selector (Ai) in different IMSI segments,
so the data configuration operation is reduced.
Scene 3
When the IN service call is reconnected, a reconnection analyzer is used for analysis
upon reception of the CONNECTION message from the SCP. If the analysis fails, an
originating analyzer or other analyzer can be used to continue the analysis according to
the configuration.
In the calling IN service, the reconnection analyzers (Ai) in different IMSIs segments are
used to analyze the reconnection numbers that are in different IMSI segments and require
different routes or different number changes. If the analysis method of a part of these
reconnection numbers is the same as that in the corresponding originating number analysis
selector, these numbers do not need to be analyzed in the reconnection analyzer Ai. When
the analysis in the reconnection number analysis selector Ai fails, only the corresponding
originating number analysis selector needs to be configured as the reconnection number
analysis selector Ai.
When the calling IN service call is reconnected, the reconnection number in the CONNECT
message returned by the SCP is analyzed by the corresponding originating number
analysis selector, and not analyzed by the number analysis selector Ai. The MSCS uses
the reconnection analyzer Ai for number analysis. If the analysis fails, the MSCS uses
the corresponding originating number analysis selector to continue the analysis.
Scene 4
The service mentioned in this application is the calling IN service. In the same way,
the called IN service and the forward IN service also have similar application. The
above-mentioned MO number-analysis selector can be replaced by a forwarding selector
or other existing selectors.

7. When the calling subscriber hooks on, the MSC/SSP sends an Event Report BCSM
(O_Disconnect) message to the SCP.
8. The GMSC/SSP releases the call.
The delay forwarding procedure in the VMSC is similar to the preceding procedure. The
only difference is that the VMSC/SSP triggers the IN service.

The signaling number transform switch configured here is used to determine the
signaling flow the number transformation takes effect in. At present, the outgoing
signaling number transformation is supported. When the signaling number transform
switch is configured correctly in configuration 1, the configuration 2 is performed.
l Configuration 2: Number Configuration > Number Transform > NNI Number
Transform.
For the function of the outgoing signaling number transformation and the corresponding
relationship with other number transformations, refer to Outgoing signaling number
transformation in 2.6 Number Analysis Procedure for Outgoing Calls through Trunk.
2-66
In number analysis, first exact matching is performed between the number and the number
attribute. If the matching fails, matching is continued between the number and the All
attribute. During the number attribute analysis, the All attribute is used when a special
number attribute is not configured (normal number analysis). In this case, the configured
data directly supports attribute analysis without any modification.
For number pre-analysis, a priority must be set for the processing of the wildcard number.
The detailed description is as follows:
If the result of the matching with corresponding priority is obtained, the matching ends. The
wildcard matching with subsequent priority is not continued. The pre-analysis principle of
the calling number and that of the called number are just the same.
2-67
The matching principle of the OSB number is also just like that of generic numbers. At first,
you need to analyze the number with the real attribute and the number itself. If number
analysis result is not obtained, then you need to analyze the number with all attributes and
the number itself.
Each OSB analysis selector could be configured with two analysis entrances, so the ALL
attribute has a higher priority over OSB analysis entrance 2. That is to say, OSB analysis
entrance 2 is valid only when you fails to analyze the number in OSB analysis entrance 1
with ALL attribute and the number itself.
2-68
Note:
Only end offices need to configure the number analysis selector for MO calls (by setting
the number analysis selector template).
Context
For the basic configuration flow for MO call number analysis, refer to Table 3-1.
3-1
Steps
1. Run the SET VARVAL command to adjust originating number.
For the main parameters in the SET VARVAL command, refer to Table 3-2.
Note:
SET VARVAL:ID=1090,VAL=1;
SET VARVAL:ID=1020,VAL=1;
SET VARVAL:ID=1103,VAL=1;
2. (Optional) Run the ADD DDI command to create number transform index.
3-2
Note:
The number transform index configures the basic number transform mode, which is
used in number analysis configuration.
For the main parameters in the ADD DDI command, refer to Table 3-3.
3-3
For example, create number transform index, add 0086 in front of the first digit of the
number.
ADD DDI:DDI=1,MTHD=ADD,OFFSET=1,LENGTH=0,DN="0086",NEWNAT=DEF,PI
=PASS,IC=PASS,NEWTYPE=0;
3. Configure number pre-analysis data.

called number pre-analysis selector, calling number pre-analysis selector and
international number pre-analysis selector.
For the main parameters in the ADD PREDAS command, refer to Table 3-4.
3-4
Note:
If the virtual MSC is not configured, or the number analysis selector for the
corresponding service is not configured in the number analysis selector
template configured in the virtual MSC, the ZXUN iCX(MSCS) automatically
selects the number analysis selector configured in the default number
analysis selector template.
For the main parameters in the SET LDASTMPLT command, refer to Table
3-5.
For example, set the default DAS template of the local office, the originating
number pre-analysis selector is 1, and the international number pre-analysis
selector is 3.

l Run the ADD ACRTMPLT command to create a DAS template.
Note:
For the main parameters in the ADD ACRTMPLT command, refer to Table
3-6.
3-5
For example, set the DAS template, the originating number pre-analysis
selector is 1, and the international number pre-analysis selector is 3.
ADD ACRTMPLT:TPLIDX=1,PREDAS=1,NC=3;
Note:
If the virtual MSC is configured, you also need to associate the number analysis
selector template ID configured in the virtual MSC.
For the main parameters in the SET VMSC command, refer to Table 3-7.
VMSCID Virtual MSC Index Mandatory. Select the virtual MSC index
configured in the ADD VMSC command.
SET VMSC:VMSCID=1,DASTPL=1;
3-6
3-7
3-8
For example, create calling number pre-analysis. The OPPREDAS is 2, the calling
number is 8613912300 and the pre-analysis result is OVER.
ADD OPPREDNAL:OPPREDAS=2,DIGIT="8613912300";
4. (Optional) Configure first called number analysis.
a. Run the ADD ENTR command to create a number analysis entrance.
For the main parameters in the ADD ENTR command, refer to Table 3-10.
3-9
For example, create a called number analysis entrance. The analyzer entry is 1,
and the analyzer number type is CALLED.
3-10
ADD ENTR:ID=1,TYPE="LOCAL",NTYPE="CALLED";
b. Run the ADD DAS command to create a number analysis selector.
Note:
The DAS is the collection of various number analyzer entries, specifying the order
and rule of performing number analysis.
For the main parameters in the ADD DAS command, refer to Table 3-11.
For example, create a number analysis selector. The number analysis selector is
1, and the local network analyzer entry is 1.
ADD DAS:ID=1,LOCAL=1;
c. Configure how to obtain analysis selectors.
Note:
The number analysis selector priority: Number analysis selector obtained from
query of cells and location areas MS-originating number analysis selector in
the template of number analysis selectors corresponding to the local VMSC
MS-originating number analysis selector in the global template of number analysis
selectors.
l Run the SET GCI command to modify GCI by associating the called number
analysis selector.
3-11
For the main parameters in the SET GCI command, refer to Table 3-12.
For example, modify GCI by associating the called number analysis selector
1.
SET GCI:LAIID=201,GCI="1000",TPDAS=1;
l Run the SET LAI command to modify LAI by associating the called number
analysis selector.
For the main parameters in the SET LAI command, refer to Table 3-13.
For example, modify LAI by associating the called number analysis selector
1.
SET LAI:ID=201,TPDAS=1;
l Run the SET LDASTMPLT command to set a MS-originating selector.
For the main parameters in the SET LDASTMPLT command, refer to Table
3-14.
3-12
For example, set the default DAS template of the local office, the MS-
originating selector is 1.
SET LDASTMPLT:MS=1;
l Run the SET ACRTMPLT command to set a MS-originating selector.
For the main parameters in the SET ACRTMPLT command, refer to Table
