The "SAP Certified Associate Project Manager" certification exam verifies that the candidate has the knowledge
required in the area of SAP project management. This certificate builds on basic consultant skills and experience that is
then refined by practical experience during several projects. This exam validates whether SAP focused project
managers have advanced business skills and the ability to apply methodologies and tools. Aside from advanced
communication and presentation skills, this certificate also verifies that the project manager has skills to manage
internal and external stakeholders, basic knowledge of change management processes, and communicating these
processes to others. This exam validates that project managers know how to manage the end-to-end transition of the
project from Sales to Realization, can develop roadmaps for project execution, understands testing and quality
management. In particular for SAP related projects, the exam verifies that the Project Manager can apply SAP-specific
roadmaps and tools like ASAP and Solution Manager.
