Final thought: So many individuals with a personal history and many stories to
tell. While these are just percentages, they represent many people who are on
the same or similar journey. At the forefront, quality of care must be the number
one service. The resident is starting all over again and they are often suffering
from a broken heart and spirit. I often think of Bette Midlers Song, Hello In
There.
So if you're walking down the street sometime
and you should spot some hollow ancient eyes,
don't you pass them by and stare
as if you didn't care.
Say, "Hello in there. Hello."
