After completing this project I have learned the importance of using statistical methods to

visualize and analyze available raw data. The only way to see meaningful patterns and to

compare data in different populations, is possible by statistical techniques.

The math skills I have gained after doing this project will improve my performance in every

math related subjects that I may take later during my carrier. This class showed me how to

analyze, interpret and organize raw data obtained from real life situations.

The most useful part of the project which may find applications in other classes will be how to

organize and display categorical and quantitative data. This will allow me to see the patterns

and relationships which may not be easily visible.

This project helped me significantly to improve my skills of critical thinking and analysis.

It also educated me how to approach a problem systematically and methodically in a step by

step fashion.

After completing this project I have developed enough confidence to approach, handle and

analyze real world math applications. This project showed me that by acknowledging errors

before applying the statistical methods, the accuracy and reliability of the estimates can be

improved.

To summarize I can say that statistics is not just about theoretical formulas but it can be

successfully applied to real life situations.
