About Mr Bernard Chan aka Mr B
Time: 2pm - 4pm

With 23 years of teaching experience, Mr Bernard Chan has taught pupils from all Cost: $325
Primary School levels and ability groups. He holds a BA in English Language and
Literature and an MA in Applied Linguistics. He was conferred a distinction in his
teaching practicum and achieved distinctions in English and the Teaching of English
Language when he was with the NTU / NIE. Class 3: Composition

He was the Head of Department for Pupil Management and Pastoral Care in Lianhua Date: 4 to 8 Sept
Primary from 1999 to 2002 before taking over the English Department in Rulang Primary Time: 2pm - 4pm
until he resigned from teaching in Dec 2011 to set up a tuition centre (2012-2014) at Cost: $325
Jurong East with a colleague. He was nominated for the Presidents Award for Teachers
and was one of the nine recipients of the inaugural Inspiring Teacher of English Award,
a national award, in 2008. Since 2012. Mr B has been a full-time tutor, teaching English
to students from K2 to Sec 2.
