Course Description The philosophy and methods of science focusing particularly on experimentation in the investigation of problems and issues in psychology including ethical
considerations in the conduct of experimental research.
Year Level Third Year
Course Prerequisite Cognitive Psychology, Psychological Statistics, Educational Psychology
Course General Objectives After completing this course, the student is expected to design and conduct experiments in psychology, write research reports, and present and defend the findings
of the experiment.
Course Requirements Regular attendance, Class participation, Oral and written r0eport, Passing of Major Examinations, Quizzes and Seatworks.
Mode of Evaluation Class Standing .40%
The class standing is based on the recitation during class discussions and participation in group activities and oral presentations.
Written Examination .40%
The written examinations include quizzes, unit tests and periodical examinations
Character .10%
This refers to the students observance of good manners and right conduct within the classroom and during group activities
Project .10%
This pertains to course-related projects that the students must comply with
