3. What is your motivation for taking this course?

How will you utilize the training you received from this course?
As maintenance engineer, it is highly essential to keep up with latest technological developments; for our
organization being in the energy sector, aims to focus on long term stability and growth. Its important to know
the extent of our customers technological expertise and stay on pace with them for improving efficiency of the
equipment as an end-user. When properly harnessing the latest and most effective technology, we are drastically
reducing the cost of doing business, thus improving upon profitability. By employing the right technology, not
only will we increase productivity, we will also be reducing processing fees and other significant overhead
costs. And more importantly, our people, communities and businesses must be positioned to seize the
opportunities that will come. One such opportunity seized is the training program on Japans latest technology in
power plant turbines and boiler systems given to the developing countries represented by all of us.
When the world pioneers in technology give us an opportunity to understand and undergo training on their turf,
it is highly inspiring to look forward for attending the same. This training program includes classroom sessions and
also site visits to major industries for understanding of the practicalitites associated with technological
developments. The training program had been successful in developing us as the human resources in Asian oil-
producing countries by transferring the technologies and experience that Japan's oil and engineering industries
have accumulated through their overall management of oil downstream sectors. This feedback recieved from
earlier partcipants who attended JCCP from our organisation is a key factor of motivation for opting the course.
