Baptism

Vanessa: Baptism is the one sacrament that all Christian denominations share in
common. In the Catholic Church, infants are baptized to welcome them into the
Catholic faith and to free them from the original sin they were born it. They view
baptism as the means by which one receives the Holy Spirit. The sacrament is
called the gateway to life in the Spirit." Important friends and family members are
invited to attend the baptism, and a reception follows to celebrate the infant's
initiation into the faith. One of the key features of a Catholic baptism is the role of
the godparents who are selected by the infant's parents.

Scene 1

*House*

Vanessa: The story will begin between 2 girls they are Fahadah and Marinel, who
treat each other like sisters. They live together in the same house because
Fahadahs Parents are gone while Marinels parents lives abroad. They do say that
they are not sisters by blood but by heart. One day Fahadah seems worried about
something so she decided to talk to Marinel.

Fahadah: *walks back and forth*

Fahadah: Hey sis! Are you alright? You look pale and worried. Is there something
wrong?
Fahadah: I have something to tell you...
Marinel: What is it? Go on just tell me.
Fahadah:*shows the PT* You are the only and the first person who knows about
it Marinel Im pregnant.
Marinel: WHAT?! Wait!What just happened? How? You and Jade broke up right?
Fahadah: Yes we broke up but something went wrong. I really didnt mean it!
What will I do now?
Marinel: Oh my gosh dear
Fahadah: Hey Nel help me! Pls
Marinel: Wait realx Im thinking.
Fahadah: Shall I abort it?
Marinel: No! No dont do that! That is not the right thing to do!
Fahdah: Then what will I do?
Marinel: Dont you dare do that. Thats a sin remember?
Fahadah: But were still young and look Im still studying. I cant afford to have a
baby at this age. My future will be ruin.
Marinel: Well thats your fault you did it. But come to think of it thats a blessing
from God a gift that he gave to you.
Fahadah: But
Marinel: Don't abort the baby. Listen to me. Can you afford to kill someone, to
end his/her life and most importantly can you afford to kill your own child?
Fahadah: No.
Marinel: Thats it keep the child. Im always here for you remember. We are
family, we are sisters.

Scene 2

*Clinic*

Vanessa: After 7 months. Fahadah is waiting for the doctor.

Steph: Come In ma'am and lay down.

Vanessa:After a few hours....

Steph:*Lends the picture* Ma'am its a baby girl! Congratulations!

Fahadah: Thank you Doc.
Steph:Ill prescribe you the medicine you need. So are you feeling well Mrs.?
Fahadah: Its Ms. Doc.
Steph: Oh sorry.
Fahadah: and Yes Im feeling well.
Steph: Okay thats good to. Here it is. Take care.
Fahadah: Yes doc I will. Thankyou very much.

Scene 3

Vanessa: In the house...

Marinel: So sis, how was your check up? How did it go? What is the gender of
your baby? Is it a girl or a boy? Omg! Im so excited!!!
Adah: Whoahh! You have a lot of questions. Chill girl, okay?
Marinel: Whatever. Just tell me already.
Adah: Okay. Okay. So... It's a baby girl!!
Marinel: Wow, really? I am pretty sure that your baby will be beautiful like you.
Congrats sis! ( hugs and kisses)
Adah: Thank you Marinel. You are always in my side especially at times when I
needed you the most. I am beyond blessed for having you in my life.
Marinel: Aww, so sweet! And duh? That's nothing, just make sure that I will be
one of her godmother.

Marinel: Is it fine for you to do that?
