| GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE

PREPARATION OF THE MONOGRAPH

Grade monograph is a written academic work


resulting from an investigative action carried out by
students during the third year of the Bachelor in
Sciences.
In general terms the monograph must comply with
the following research process:

Select and define the subject.


For the researcher (student): choose a topic that
catches your attention, about which you would like to
acquire more information, help solve a problem. The
theme must be something or someone that really
motivates you, cause you some emotion and
passion, that will inspire you, to awaken in you
curious to discover important aspects.

Formulating research problem.


The research problem must be formulated clearly and unambiguously as
a question. The question can be started with any of the following terms:
what...? Which one...? How...?; is then placed a link word: incidence,
relationship, effect, effect, influence, efficiency, contribution, among
others

The research problem, formulated as questions could be:


How does the level of sexual education in the rate of pregnancies of
young people from 13 to 17 years of age, school students tax in la
Trinitaria Island, Guayaquil, in the year 2012?

Establish the objectives of the work.


The objectives of an investigation are the statement
clear and accurate for each of the goals pursued by
the researcher and have two dimensions: general
objective and specific objectives. A verb in infinitive
is used to your writing.
The elements that should be considered the general
objective are the following:
1 intended to achieve?
2. How will it achieve the desired end?
3 for what is going to conduct the investigation?
ANALYSIS OF THE CHANGES IN THE CONCEPT
OF SOCIAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE
FORMULATION OF THE LAW OF ECUADOR 2007
COMMUNICATION.

Catalonia and other autonomous
communities. Allows remote consultation
through the Internet of the full text of the
thesis, as well as searches by author, director,
title, subject of the thesis, University,
Department where they have read and year of

STRUCTURE OF THE MONOGRAPH

The structure of the monographic work consists of


the following parts:
1. Home- Should be: institution name and logo
(size 16)
Title of the monograph (apply
style title 1)
Author or authors (in uppercase
and lowercase letters) (size 14)
Course (size 14)
Name of the director teacher (size
14)
School year (size 14)
City and date (size 12)
This section should have a page. It is not
necessary to add images or page edges.

2. Abstract.- is the synthesis of all the monograph


and contains information about the development
objectives and conclusions of the work. what
instructions you must follow?:

or Applies to the text style ' title 2 '
or Write in paragraphs up to 250 words
as follows:
Paragraph 1: write briefly the importance of
the issue.
Paragraph 2: Write the monograph is
organized and name each

Chapter called..., the second...
Paragraph 3: Write the most important
conclusion of the monograph.

3. Table of contents .-Is the structure of the


monograph, titles and subtitles properly followed

4. Introduction .-Is the general of the monograph,

5.1. Marco theoretician. Is a written

6. Conclusions- Is the synthesis or summary of


the most important and relevant ideas presented
in the order of development of the monograph.

Write the title Conclusions caps and aligned
to the Center. By applying the style 'Title 2'
Write paragraphs or bullets, 3 to 5 conclusions,
except needed more.

7. Recommendations. Recommendations, a
research study are aimed at providing
suggestions to the light results,
recommendations in this respect are addressed:
to. Suggest, regarding how to improve
the methods study
b. Suggest actions specific on the basis of the
consequences
c. Suggestions for future research
So that the recommendations must be consistent
with findings and results with the research purposes.

8. Bibliography
There must be a direct correspondence between
citations and bibliographic references. It is
advisable, as seen in issue II, theoretical

EVALUATION
The evaluation of the monograph must be based on
the following parameters of the header of

Clearly defined objectives.
Argue based on reasoning.
Apply skills of analysis, synthesis, classification,
description.
Submit a text written in clear, simple, specific,
living language
delimited and have a handy extension (minimum
20 sheets - maximum 30 sheets).
Comply with the standards of academic honesty.

Before delivering the monographic work, the student


must take into account the following
recommendations:

or Revise writing, grammar and punctuation signs.
or Allow someone else to read it to make sure that
it is spelled correctly.
or Make sure you have cited all the sources you
used to not commit plagiarism.
