PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE IN MAKATO, AKLAN

 INTRODUCTION

As a law enforcer my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives

and property, to protect innocent against deception, the weak against oppression and
intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the
Constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice. This is one of the line of
code of ethics of our police, but nowadays there are some issues that a Police are being
harsh and abusing their authority instead of safeguarding the lives of a man they are the
reason of the danger of man they using their authority to abuse man through force,
intimidation and to gain some money or profit on it they called the Scallywag or
Scalawag. They didnt think that they are in one uniform mistake of one mistake of all
thats why many of us think that the Police nowadays is our enemy and we cant trust
them all the time.

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the Police of Makato if they are
performing their duties right or wrong and most importantly to prove to all that not of all
the Police are having bad faith and in a bad side but to prove to all that our Police is our
saviour and our hero we need to get back the trust of people to our Police not only on
Makato but to all Philippine National Police.

Therefore, this study will be conducted to determine the perceptions of the

community on the performance of Philippine National Police in Makato, Aklan.
Statement of the Problem

This study will be conducted to determine the perceptions of the community on

the performance of Philippine National Police in Makato, Aklan.

Specifically, this study will seeks answer the following problems:

1. What is demographic profile of respondent in terms of:

1.1.Age,
1.2.Sex,
1.3. Civil Status, and
1.4 Occupation
2. What are the perceptions of the community on the performance of Philippine
National Police in Makato, Aklan?
3. What is the level of Performance of the Philippine National Police in Makato,
Aklan?
4. What is the degree of Performance of the Philippine National Police in
Makato, Aklan?

Significance of the Study

This study will be beneficial to the following:

PNP. This study will beneficial to them in order to know if they are doing good
or not and to inform to all that they are having a good reputation as Law Enforcer.

Resident of Makato. This will beneficial to them in order to share their

thoughts and perception to the PNP Makato.

Community. This will help them in order to know that not all of the Police are
in the bad side also to know the performance of Police Makato.

Future Researcher. This will benefit to them as their basis for their future
references.

Research Environment
 This study will be limited on the Perception of the community on the
Performance of Philippine National Police in Makato, Aklan.

Research Respondent

The respondent of the study will be 100 resident of Makato, Aklan.
