Diverse Minds Psychology is a specialist psychology practice located in Erskineville.

We primarily
work with children, adolescents and adults with an autism spectrum condition and other adolescent
specific challenges. We are seeking a receptionist to join our team for 2 days per week.

Ideally we are looking for a mature person with administration/reception experience and some
knowledge of the allied health industry. The applicant would provide reception cover and
administration support to the Diverse Minds Team. Employment would be on a part time basis and
applicant must be able to work 9.30am 5.30pm. On the job training will be provided.

Finding the right person for this role is our priority but the following criteria would be highly
regarded.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Essential:

Strong communication skills both written and verbal and excellent telephone manner
High level administrative and organisational skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task
The capacity to be a self-starter and work without supervision
The ability to interact with a range of clients and other professionals
Intermediate/well developed skills in use of Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel
Ability to work as part of a team in a high volume work environment
Providing support to Clinic Director and Psychologists

Desirable:

Experience in allied health or medical reception/ administration role


Familiarity with Front Desk appointment system
Experience processing client payments, invoices, use of hi-caps system
Flexibility of working hours during peak times including school holidays
Demonstration of professional behaviour and values in the work place

Additional Information:

Duties:
Greeting clients
Answering telephone calls and enquiries
Administrative functions including: scanning, photocopying, file management, scheduling,
mail and correspondence
Set up, maintain clean reception/front office area
Processing client payments, invoices, use of hi-caps system
Booking appointments, assisting psychologists with scheduling
Providing support to Clinic Director, Clinic Manager and Psychologists

Rate of Pay is dependant on experience and will be based on the Heath Professionals and Support
Services Award.
