Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

Good morning.

Do not listen to this lesson while driving or operating heavy machinery or involved in something where it
would not be advisable to let go and alter your consciousness.

Now, please take this morning seriously. And welcome to the Dark side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5
on the Use of Stories.

And speaking of stories for this lesson, I was thinking back through my life, making notes and reviewing
notes that Ive made and I got back to when I was about 16 years old and it was only a few months
passed getting my drivers license. One day a few friends and I, we decided that wed take a drive up
towards Mount Hood. And my first car, it was an old rambler, that was the make of it. Have you ever
heard of a rambler? Google it. A really old car. Okay. It was completely in the dumps, literally, on the
property of my grandfather, when I turned 15, my grandfather, having driven it for many, many, many
years. Even he put it in the dumps.

So he told me I can have it and I could fix it up. So, I had been doing exactly that for some period of time.
I got it to run and I even got it painted a beautiful kind of sky blue with a $99 .00 Schwabs paint job. Ill
never forget the name of that company. They painted everything blue including the rubber trim inside
the door that makes the door seal, even including where the white wall of the tires is supposed to be,
that was painted blue too, yeah. The car used about as much oil as it did gas and that was quite a bit. I
always had to keep 4 for 5 bottles of oil in the trunk just for-- Anyway, so as I went down the road, the
car was smoking and oh yeah, I was riding in style.

So, imagine it 16 years old, got my own car, Im free and I can go wherever I want. I mean, what a life.
So, there we were heading up towards the mountain on a beautiful Oregon day. And we had the
windows down and we could smell the wonderful smells of the forest and the feel of the cold air and we
all felt alive. I was really going fast and all of a sudden my radar detector went off and I slammed on the
breaks and going the other direction was a state trooper. And he looked hard at me as he passed and I
saw his break lights come on and he swerved towards his right, preparing to make what, I dont know,
what looked to me like he was going to do a U-turn in the middle of the freeway.

At that point, I went over the crest of a hill, right? And I couldnt see him and I had this incredible idea
that I would outrun him. If I could just find a road that I could turn off on I could maybe escape, right?
And he wouldnt see me. So sure enough, just ahead, there was one off to my left. I floored it in my
gutless wonder of the car, kind of lurched forward. My adrenaline was flowing. I think my heart was
racing and I really hoped Id gotten away, right? I went screaming down this road in the middle of the
forest, in the middle of nowhere on the way to Mount Hood. And about 30 seconds later, I saw the
trooper barreling up from behind me. Lights flashing, siren on, my heart fell, my fear rose. I watched
through my rear view mirror, see he got out of his car. And he put his big wide brimmed hat on that
state troopers wear. And he walked towards my car as if he owned the whole world. As he leaned over
and looked into the car through my window, he said

You know that reminds me of a time later that winter, also on the same mountain, Mount Hood. When
my family and a couple of other families rented a cabin and this was just a little ways up the road from
where we were. It was in the dead of winter and it was beginning to snow and by the time we got about
10 miles or so away from the road the cabin was on, the police had a road block up and were requiring
that everyone put on chains. Well, that was a real pain in the butt, for our big SUV and everything, it
took all of us and we finally got it done. And when we got on our way again, it was real slow going. Line
of traffic stretching as far as you can see and everyone going about 5 miles an hour, of course, feeling
the chains grinding away and a car bumping along and-- but a few hours later we finally made it to the
road.

And as we approached the road to turn off and go to the cabin, man, it was stunning. All that fresh new
snow, the trees were just covered. It was so beautiful, really, really beautiful. About 2 miles down the
road, we arrived at the cabin off to the right. It was really large and beautiful and made mainly of logs.
So, we all piled out of the cars and all of us unloaded the cars, mainly the men. We got everything into
the cabin and we looked around, wow, what a great looking place it was, so beautiful. And all the
women got busy making dinner.

The sounds of laughter and the cooking, it just warmed my heart. Everyone was there. It just felt so nice.
And soon the smell of stew and fresh warm bread was wafting through the air. I thought I was in
heaven. I loved nothing more than being able to go skiing and we were going to do that the next day.
After a little while, I walked outside and suddenly felt like I had entered a different universe. It was
absolutely dead silent. No sounds whatsoever. I felt like I walked into a giant cocoon of cotton. It was
really peaceful and comforting.

There was about 2 feet of snow on the ground. So, I walked over from just outside the door, out to the
SUV parked alongside the road. And I got in and I dont know why but I was kind of careful to shut the
door easily, not slam it. So as to knock off the snow that has been building up very fast on the car. I
turned the car on, I turned off all the inside lights, so, it was dark inside. All the windows were covered.
And all I could hear was the gentle purring of the motor. The wind shield was completely blocked and it
just felt so nice. I let my eyes close and the purring of the motor began to make my senses drift.

I easily entered into a revery of sorts with my mind drifting. I felt alive. My mind went to the next day
when wed be skiing in a resort just a couple of miles away. I imagined carving beautiful turns into the
fresh powder and as I felt myself going down the hill, turning ever so effortlessly, the snow flying around
me, my mind in such a still, calm peace. My thoughts turned towards my girlfriend that I was madly in
love with. Time just stood still as that familiar feeling of complete relaxation and surrender to the hill I
was skiing on over took me.

I have no idea how much time went by but I was partially roused out of my revery by gentle swishing
sounds on the outside of the car. It was very dark but I can see someone gently cleaning the snow off
the window on the driver side where I was sitting. I looked out the window and a huge smile crossed
over my face.

You know that reminds me of a time a little later in my life when Ive been given an assignment to learn
about going to the state of relaxation so that I could learn to help others do so more quickly. I was told
to sit for this exercise alone and in front of a large mirror and to position a mirror behind me as well. The
biggest mirror that I had then was in the bathroom in front of the sink. So, I brought a chair in and I sat
in front of it. And I hung a smaller mirror behind me and off to one side just a little. I shut the door
carefully, so as not to bang the mirror hanging on it and I sat down and I looked in the mirror. And wow,
it looked like pictures of me got smaller and smaller and there were hundreds of them going off into
infinity.

Looking at them was in intriguing and I felt my breathing begin to slow. I shifted my view from the direct
reflection of me sitting in the chair to the second reflection. I begin to imagine that I was the person in
that second refection looking at the first reflection of myself. And as I jumped into that, I quickly began
to lose track of which one was the real me. I soon imagined that the fifth reflection was really an
extended reflection of the second me. Imagining what it would look like to be looking at the first me
reflected. My mind whirled from one perspective to the next opening completely to the experience.

As my eyes closed, I imagined that my consciousness could be transported from me to me in each of the
different pictures with each one learning from what the other had been doing. I felt that as if programs
were running subprograms that were running sub programs. All of which were communicating to me in
each of the reflections. All of which were communicating.

Absorb the structure of using stories covertly. Increase your desire to learn them to compulsion levels.
Master embedded stories through practicing and modeling what I do. And finally, all the subprograms
began to zero in with suggestions that I knew I understood at the deepest level. And I knew those
suggestions would be with me forever. I felt my consciousness moving rapidly from picture to picture
learning and growing with greater speed and power than I ever thought possible. And I began to
understand why I was told to do that exercise. I opened my eyes and my consciousness began to flow to
the first reflection in the mirror and from there it returned to me sitting in the chair. I felt amazed,
refreshed, alive and incredible. I knew it was absolutely profound. But I also knew that I had no clue of
all the things that had happened nor all of the realizations that I had. But I knew that my unconscious
had all of it deep within and as the memories began fading away, I got up realizing that I had taken
another giant leap forward.

I was happy and as I turned to take another look at myself in the mirror-- Oh, yeah, So, I was saying that
I was roused from my revery by the sound of gentle brushing outside the car and even though it was
dark, I can see someone gently brushing of the snow to look in. I looked out the window in a huge smile
crossed my face because it was my girlfriend. My father had invited her to come along as a special
surprise and he didnt tell me. I opened the door and she jumped in on top of me yelling Surprise! and
was it ever and was I ever. Wow, I was shocked later to learn that more than an hour had gone by with
me sitting in the car. The snow had piled much deeper.

Then when we got out and began walking to the cabin, the lights from inside played beautifully on the
snow in front. And it was such a magical evening. That reminds me that not everything is magical on the

life of a 16 year old. I was telling you that the cop was walking toward my car like he owned the entire
world. He leaned up close and looked at all of us in the car and said with disgust in his voice, Where are
you going in such a rush? I told him we were just out for a drive. He said, Yeah, sure, so why are you
trying to avoid me? Why did you turn off this main road? I told him I wasnt, that I was just driving. He
snorted at me. He rudely demanded my license and registration and when he came back, he had a big
smirk on his face.

He told me, This is a very big ticket. Whats your Daddy going to say when he sees this? Well, being
quite a smart aleck, I said, I dont know what hes going to say but what do you think your supervisors
going to say when he sees the complaint Ill be filing? Like I said, not everything is magical in the life of
a 16 year old as you well know. And I had the realization that one can learn the easy way or one can
learn the hard way. But its interesting, dont you think?

Alright, so anyway, where were we? Oh yeah, Module 5, Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Stories right?
Now, I remember. Alright, okay, so the technique I just used is one of my absolute favorites. Its one I go
back to. Its pretty much one of my go to Covert Hypnotic Induction Strategies with Stories. I absolutely
love it. Its outrageously powerful and works really, really well. And the name for it, its called Multiple
Embedded Stories. And you may have heard things like Embedded loops or Loops and those are
actually a little bit different. And I really like this way of doing it better. Ill talk about the other stuff later
on or remind me and Ill go over it.

But this strategy can be a primary staple of what you use to covertly induce altered states in people with
ease, okay. Lets go over exactly what happened, okay, I used three stories, and I like three. But you can
also use four or five if you want. You could do six, I suppose, if you wanted, okay. But more than three
and it starts to get long and thats kind of the issue. So like I told you in previous lessons, the context is
so important, okay. So, even three maybe a bit long but you know still I can usually get away with three.
And if I have to shorten them up a little bit, I will. But remember, when you go to a movie, they generally
last about an hour and a half. And theres a reason for it, the movie should, from almost the very
beginning suck you in, right. Then it involves you in the story and you vicariously live through one or
more of the characters of the story in the movie, right. And then it exits you out the other side in
whatever way it wants to.

But theres a time frame that that happens in and stories take a little bit so you need to arrange the
context such that you would be able to spend a few moments telling a story, okay. Now, in normal day
to day use, if you were for example lets say, you were in medical sales, for example. Selling drugs or
something, you may not have a lot of time to tell a story especially-- or stories-- especially on the first
visit, right? But you absolutely can be telling stories as your relationship deepens. So in this case, you
want to find something shorter and quicker. And in upcoming lessons we will talk about that, okay.
However, this technique is so, so incredible that I want to put a lot of your focus and attention on this
strategy and on this technique. It merits the effort. Its incredible.

So, like I said, I use three, right? I can do four, five or six very easily and you should be able to too as you
start practicing. So heres the basic structure, alright. You want to tell a story up to the point where

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

something is going to happen and just before it does switch to the second story. And the switch doesnt
even have to be smooth. In fact, to a certain extent, the more abrupt, the better because youre really
kind of unplugging the person at that point. It is a pattern interrupt, okay? So, tell the second story up to
the point where something is going to happen and just before it does, switch to the third story. And tell
the third story up to the point where somethings going to happen, right? And then insert some
suggestions or break in the middle, right? But insert some suggestions that you want the person to act
on. Then complete the third story, then go back and complete the second story and then go back and
complete the first story, okay. Thats, the simple gist of this.

Theres more that you need to know to make it really powerful and well go through, but thats the gist
of it. So, look down and say out loud, the color of shoes youre wearing. Bet 50% right that its brown.
Alright, if it wasnt, it was black. Unless youre a woman then who knows. Alright, so, heres the question
for you. Do you recall the suggestions that I gave in my story? Huh? Huh? Huh? Do you? I mean, some of
you might. Many of you will not and either way, its okay. Whether you do or not, doesnt really matter.
And youll find however, when you do this with people who are not expecting it, almost no one will
remember the suggestions.

And if they did the way I did it, I couldve easily said, Oh no. No. No. This was what I thought, this is
how I thought it was happening. Say in other words, its plausible deniability is very, very, very easy with
this. Very, very, very easy, okay. So, heres the thing, theres another reason that people wont
remember and Ill go over it with you here in just a minute, okay. What youve done is to sandwich the
suggestions inside of three stories that have been opened and not closed. You open story one and you
do a pattern interrupt by braking abruptly to story number two, right. So, the brain gets jammed at that
point and they want to know whats happening, okay, right. Did you want to know about the cop? What
he said as he leaned in to the car? Okay, so, their brain wants closure and theyre stuck. Theyre
jammed. Its a pattern interrupt and its a strong pattern interrupt, right. So, the content of what youre
doing becomes far less important.

Then you do it again, right, you start a second story. And right about when somethings going to happen,
you break abruptly for the next one. And theyre like, well-- And now the brain is really kind of jammed
solidly. It really is trying to figure out where in the hell this is going and what this story are and they
really want to know what the stories are, right. Its an incredible pattern interrupt which equals a very
profound induction. Even if their eyes are open, you will see all kinds of signs of trance being exhibited
by them, they may be focused with their attention solidly on you, their blink reflex may have decreased
or stopped all the other, you might see breathing slow and rhythmic, youll see all kinds of signs of an
altered state and by now with all the training youve gone through, you can certainly recognize them
with ease. Okay.

So, lets go over some of the strategies that can make these stories much more powerful, okay? So first
of all how do you choose what stories that youll use? And thats a really good question. So, heres a
strategy that I use, alright? The first story should be compelling and grab their attention. Now, this by
itself is extremely hypnotic. In other words, my first story is not I dont need it to be more than just
something dramatic that really grabs their attention and holds on to it. Thats really its biggest purpose.

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

In other words, Ive seized their attention from their normal state of things. Ive riveted it on to me.
Riveted it on to me and my story, right? And that is the beginning of the trance, augmented quite
profoundly with the pattern interrupt, of just breaking in the middle of the-- before something big is
going to happen. Okay? It serves the purpose of capturing their attention, which is trance, alright?

Im going to go through the story now and I want to point out the elements of hypnosis in the covert
parts that I used in that story. So lets go back through it. Now by the way, normally I wouldnt-- I would
just talk and tell these things. However, for the purpose of helping you to really learn this and to be able
to evaluate it because I wouldnt remember what I said later, I wrote these out exactly like Im going to
suggest you to do. Lets analyze a few elements of the story that youre going to want to pay close
attention to and put into yours.

So I just started it out that I was I thought through my life, it was kind of the intro. I thought through
my life, making notes and reviewing notes Ive made. Sounds normal, like Im studying to get ready to
present this information to you. I got back to when I was about 16 years old and only a few months
passed getting my drivers license. Lets start right there. So whats the Hypnotic Element thats
happening right there? Well to makes sense of it, its an age regression. So Im regressing you back to
your early teenage years or middle teenage years and at the point of getting a drivers license which
many of us can either did or you can certainly relate to having happen. What happened when you got
your drivers license? Was that a turning point in your life? Was it a point of freedom? I mean for me it
was the biggest most powerful freedom thing that I had ever experienced in my life and for many of my
friends it was the same. And for many people Ive spoken to since, that was a giant turning point in their
life. So, in the first sentence or so, right, Ive done an age regression, the start of an age regression and
Ive started to get very specific. Only a few months passed getting my drivers license, okay.

Now, I jumped into the story, One day, a few friends and I decided were going to drive up to Mount
Hood. I give more specifics now. My first car was an old Rambler and I really kind of went in on that,
now why? Why difference does it make? Well, hey, its old; it was old when I was 16. And, thats a long
time ago, right. So, it makes you think, Do I know what a Rambler is? Maybe you do, maybe you
dont, maybe you think, I need to look that up and see what kind of old crappy car Kenrick had.
Actually, I meant to tell you that it had a three speed transmission on the column, on the steering
column. I dont know if you ever seen that but boy is that weird. Anyway, so, I went through about how
my grandpa said that I can have it and fix it up which is I did. And then I started in with the
representations. Well, I started with by saying, He told me, so I started in with the auditory. I moved
to the visual, I painted it, A beautiful sky blue. I laughed about that paint job and explain why, right. It
used as much oil as it did gas, so, smoking, again, you can visually see that, some of you mightve
smelled it. I said Imagine it. 16 years old. Got my own car. Im free, can go wherever I want. What a
life.

So, what am I doing? Deepening the age regression, right, and Im suggesting freedom. In other words,
moving your mind away from the normal constraints of where you are right then, as I began the story,
into a sense of mental freedom. So, Im already beginning to very strongly move you away from where

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

you are and anything different from where you are, by definition is an altered state, covert, but an
altered state. And Im directly telling you, Imagine it.

Okay, so then I go on, heading up towards the mountain on a beautiful day. So Im describing things and
I said we had the windows down and we could smell the wonderful smells of the forest and feel the cold
air and we felt alive. Okay, so again, Im overlapping the senses, right. Now I brought in all of them. Even
more the auditory when I say, Suddenly my radar detector went off. Okay and it adds drama. So now,
youre like, Really, whats going on, wheres the cop? Right, so right along with me. So, Ive over
lapped the rep systems, right, and I have now gotten to an exciting point in the story and my tone
sounds quite dramatic as well because Im really in the story. Im feeling the story. Im recalling the story
like I was there again and by so doing, I bring you right with me and right into the story, okay.

So then I talk about going into the direction as a state trooper, he looked at me hard, I saw his brake
lights, I thought hes going to make a U-turn, right. Now I move on with the story, so I go over the crest
of the hill. I had the incredible idea to outrun him. Im being a very normal 16 year old, right, for a guy.
And I was hoping you wouldnt see me, so Im adding intrigue. Im amping the drama of the story so that
its going to suck you in even harder. My adrenaline was flowing, my heart was raising. I hoped Id
gotten away. All designed to really suck you in to the story. About 30 seconds later, I saw the trooper
barreling up from behind, lights flashing. So in other words, again, Im amping up the emotions, okay. If I
can reach inside you, like with my hand, deep inside your stomach and grab hold of something and
center you on my words and on my story, trance, right.

So, I watched through my rear view mirror as he got out of his car, put his big wide brimmed hat on. He
walked toward my car as if he owned the whole world. Im painting the story of a real aggressive cop
and we probably all had that experience either directly or via television or movies or what have you. And
I broke, right there, I broke into the next story.

So, lets talk about the things that I really want you to notice. The tone of my story was excited, it was
dramatic, it was engaging. I told it with passion because I feel the passion like as if I was there again. And
thats the first thing youve got to do to make stories work. If you cant tell a story with passion, dont
tell it, find another one. So you really want to tell stories and then get in to it as you do. You want to be
there again. I was 16 as I was telling that story. I felt alive, I felt free and I felt like I was bigger and
badder than the whole world, that I could beat that stupid cop by turning faster than he could crest over
that hill and see me turn. I remember it like as if I was there and I told it to you, like as if I was there and
thats the first thing you got to do. Youve got to let the emotion overwhelm you, let it overwhelm you.

I used to watch-- often times its music that does this-- but I would watch a show, like lets say American
Idol. And I watch someone perform something thats so passionate and so incredible and Ill be choked
up after I hear it. Itll move me emotionally and I use to think that was bad, that I was weak until I
realized what a strength it really is. Let yourself be moved. Let yourself enjoy the experience, be in the
here and now and in the here and now of the story in particular, right. Let it overwhelm you. Tell it
with passion. If its sad and it brings a tear to your eye and chokes you up, all the better, okay. So thats
the first thing.

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

The second thing is, start bringing in the major rep systems, at least if not also smell, that really helps.
Capture their attention by the drama somehow. In this story I used age regression as well which is a full
on Hypnotic Phenomena. Now, I didnt go on, on, and on but you were there with me as I went
through the story. In other words, it was regressive in nature. And painting vivid pictures, all of which
alters consciousness, okay.

The second story should have clear elements of altered states, right. So lets go through that second
story and let me point out the altered states that were present. So, its starts off with, And that reminds
me of a time later that winter also on Mount Hood with my family and a couple of others rented a cabin,
a little further up the road. So, really here, all Im doing is transitioning, pretty much just a start
transition. The cop leaned in my window and he said and that reminds me of a time later that winter
So, the transition was Mount Hood, up farther on that same road, right? So then I began, It was in the
dead of winter and it was beginning to snow, word pictures again. By the time we got about 10 miles
away, the police So again, theres a bit of a transition there. Were requiring everyone to put on
chains, right.

Again, I drugged that out a little helping you to really connect with that experience and to really make
the transition into my second story. So, I explained how slow going, how it was difficult, how it took a
long time to go those last 10 miles and how the car felt as we bumped along, etcetera. As we turned off
to go to the cabin, I said The trees were looking so beautiful all covered with white snow. Really
wanted to set it up for what was coming, also wanted you to see the picture. About 2 miles down the
road, we arrived at the cabin off to the right. It was large, beautifully made mainly of logs, so at this
point youre probably visualizing a big log cabin.

So, the next thing is I wanted to involve your senses more, so I talked about unloading the car and how
the women got busy making dinner. And that the sounds of laughter and cooking warmed my heart.
Sounds of laughing and cooking warmed So, how does sounds cause warmth? That kind of language
also induces altered states. So, you can make pictures, make you feel, you can make feelings, remind
you of scenes from your past, you can make sounds, have you flash back to something in your life. So
that kind of language is something thats very trance inducing in and of itself. But its very subtle when
its done like this.

And I immediately continued with sensory over lapping. And soon the smell of stew and fresh warm
bread was wafting through the air, did you smell the bread? I did as I told it to you. I thought I was in
heaven. Well, again, at this point Im wanting to very strongly involve all of your senses, alright? A bit
later, I walked outside and suddenly felt like I had entered a different universe. Why do I say it like
that? Theres a very important reason. I want to shift you now to the altered state, now, its time, lets
shift. So I walked outside and I shifted, to what? A complete different universe. If you shifted from one
universe in your mind to the next in a seconds time, would you be in an altered state and the answer is
absolutely. And it was absolutely dead silent. Well thats an altered state in on of itself, okay.

So, we went from a bustling, cooking stuff inside to dead silence. No sounds whatsoever. All the snow
was blocking all the sounds and I felt like I walked into a giant cocoon of cotton Involving again your

senses to make more dramatic the silence of the snow. It was peaceful and comforting, why do I say
that, because I want you to be peaceful and comfortable as you alter your consciousness profoundly
where Im going. I gave greater details consciously to let you now really build the picture, there was
about 2 feet snow on the ground. So, I walked over the SUV, and I was careful to shut the door easily to
not knock off the snow. I wrote it like that, I told it like that because I wanted to add drama to what
was coming to the transition point. And I actually wrote that drama in after I had kind of written out the
story. I went back in fleshed it out as Im going to suggest you do in just a little bit.

So, Ive shut the door carefully so as not to knock off the snow and I turned the car on, turning off all
the inside lights, so it was completely dark. So again, now, Im taking you into a completely dark
environment, right, where theres no sound except now, all I could hear was the gentle purring of the
motor. In other words, a monotonous sound was all I could hear. The wind shield was completely
blocked, meaning, there was no light and there was only a purring sound, there was a monotonous
sound, right? And then, I moved right on into trance. I let my eyes close. Now you can mark that, Eyes
close. If you want, right, theres no reason not to, even if they dont close their eyes. And the purring
of the motor began to make my senses drift. Full on trance induction there, full on. Im absolutely
shifting my listeners into an altered state with that.

Then I say it again, I easily entered into a revery of sorts with my mind drifting. To make sense of it, what
do you have to do? You have to enter in to that revery yourself with your mind drifting. I felt alive.
And then I started projecting, in other words, imagining other times and other places, right. I take you
off to the next day when I would be skiing in a resort. And I go through a skiing thing, I imagine carving
beautiful turns into the fresh powder and even if youve never skied before you could imagine that.
And then I added more inductions stuff, And as I felt myself going down the hill, down the hill,
induction language, turning ever so effortlessly. Now, everything is just flowing, the snow flying, My
mind in such a still calm, peace My tone is shifting when I say this, Im pausing more and then I add
more drama. My thoughts turned toward my girlfriend that I was madly in love with, hey, what 16
year old guy or girls thoughts dont turn towards their girlfriend or boyfriend when theyre sitting in a
state of revery all by themselves, right.

So, I add more trances things with temporal distortion now, time just stood still, Im distorting time,
purposefully. And as that familiar feeling of complete relaxation and surrender, right there, those
words are absolutely trance inducing words. Familiar feeling causes you to search for the familiar feeling
of relaxation and surrender. To the hill, right, so, I bring it back to skiing. To the hill I was skiing on
over took me, in other words Im being over taken by this extreme comfort and relaxation. I further
now used time distortion. I have no idea how much time went by but I was partially roused out of my
revery by gentle swishing sounds on the outside of the car.

So, I was only partially roused, Im still very much in my reverie, by gentle swishing sounds. It was really
dark but I could see someone gently clean the snow off the window on the driver side where I was
sitting. And I looked out the window and a huge smile crossed my face. Im adding drama, I made a
point where theres a clear something going to happen and I break. And that reminds me of a time a
little later in my life when I had been given an assignment to learn about going into a state of

relaxation. Wow. So Im also now What Im doing is, I am doing the fractionation technique. I just
took them down into an altered state and now I brought them back a little bit and then blam. I brought
them back with the huge smile crossing my face etcetera. You know somethings happening, you dont
what. And then, immediately where I had to go into a state of relaxation. So that I can help others,
learn to do it more quickly.

So, I didnt go into the exercise, so now, Im actually doing an exercise of going into a trance and
recounting it to you. What are you going to do? Well, you and everybody are also going to imagine this
experience for which youve are already been interrupted twice. 2 stories, your brain is a mess, it cant
figure out, it just gives up. And it imagines sitting in front of a large mirror with a smaller mirror
positioned behind. I give some details to pacify the conscious mind that the biggest mirror I had was in
the bathroom and so you probably maybe chuckled a little bit, here I am, sitting in my bathroom in a
chair, looking at the mirror. So, I gave the details of hanging a smaller mirror behind me and off to one
side, these little details are what make stories come alive. And they pacify the conscious mind. So just it
just goes Yeah, whatever.

Now, as we begin the process, I say, I sat down, I looked in the mirror and it looked like pictures of me
got smaller and smaller. And they were hundreds of them going off into infinity. Well, its going to
cause you to remember looking into two mirrors and seeing the same thing. What happens when you
look at that? It is intriguing, right. So I was looking at them, these were intriguing me and I felt my
breathing begin to slow. What is that? Its a suggestion to you, to my listeners, slow youre breathing.
And when your breathing slows, what happens? You start to enter an altered state. So, again Im just flat
out now covertly inducing trance.

I shifted my view from the direct reflection of me sitting in the chair to the second reflection and
youre going to do that right along with me. I began to imagine that I was the person in that second
reflection looking at the first reflection of myself. Huh? Confusion. Im starting a confusion process so
now youre going to look at that reflection looking at another one, but theres something else Im doing.
If you are looking at the second reflection, if youre looking at the second reflection, looking at the first
reflection, then you have to be the second reflection. So what are you from your physical body?
Dissociated. Ive now entered the element of dissociation into this.

Can you, I mean, count them, how many induction strategies are all being used and piled one on top of
another in these. Inside of the three big things, the three stories with interrupts on each one. Look at
the sheer number of hypnotic strategies that are being piled one on top of the other.

Then I say, I quickly began to lose track of which one was the real me. You obviously know why I said
that, right? Im now wanting the person to begin to lose track of their reality. In other words, theyre
very firmly entering an altered state that is in every way different from wherever we were talking--
business setting, a restaurant, doesnt matter. Were now very far outside of all of that and I want them
to literally just let go of everything and lose track. Theres another reason of losing track of which is
which, and that is, that and again is Temporal Disorientation. Its disorientation as well of who you are.
Wow.

Then I take it a whole level further. I imagined that the fifth reflection was really an extended reflection
of the second me. How is that? These are just flat confusion strategies. Imagining what it would look
like to be looking at the first me reflected. And at this point, the people listening, they just give up.
Theyre looking at these pictures, theyre gone for all practical purposes. My mind whirled from one
perspective to the next. What happens in trance? Your mind can go quickly from one thing to the next.
And I say, Opening completely to the experience, an indirect suggestions directly to you to open to
this experience. You see, suggestion upon suggestion. Trance strategy piled upon trance strategy. Now,
do you understand why I wanted you to go through all of that previous stuff? Youre starting to get it, I
hope, combined with everything youve learned in the Persuasion Factor and you see it all adding up
here, right?

Then I say, As my eyes closed, indirect suggestion to close your eyes, if you do or dont it doesnt
matter. But youre imagining my eyes closed now which more profoundly relaxes you. So, I imagine that
my consciousness could be transported from me to me. Again, were talking confusion language strategy
and transporting consciousness from one place to another. In this case, one picture to another. That is
about as altered and strategic of language as you would ever need to use, more so, really. So, it
transported from me to me and each of the different pictures with each one learning from what the
other had been doing. Remember I said they went often into infinity. So the mind is now in complete full
loops imagining what it could be learning from each.

And then I took it even deeper by said I felt that programs were running subprograms that were
running subprograms, all of which were communicating to me. I said again they were communicating
to me. What were they communicating, in a very strongly altered tone, I said-- Heres the suggestions,
and heres what I did to these three things, heres what the suggestions were: Absorb the structure of
using stories covertly. Is that not why youre in this lesson? Increase your desire to learn two compulsion
levels. Man, I want you to be compulsed to be able to do this, you damn straight, I do. So, I gave you
that suggestion. I said, master embedded stories through practicing and modeling what I do. Three
really solid suggestions given in a profoundly different tone of voice, now you remember them probably,
maybe, okay.

And I went on said, and finally all the subprograms began to zero in with suggestions that I knew I
understood at the deepest level. What does that also say through presupposition? It says that I didnt
know through-- consciously, in other words, I understood it at the deepest level and I knew those
suggestions would be with me forever. In other words, Im planting those suggestions into you to stay
there forever.

I felt my consciousness moving rapidly from picture to picture learning and growing with greater speed
and power than I ever thought possible In other words, the consciousness is moving from picture to
picture slamming in those suggestions over and over again. And I began to understand why I was told to
do that exercise, I say. That is just a distraction technique, like they begin to understand, Oh wow,
theres something of importance here. It kind of primes them for the suggestions that Id given ever
more.

Then I start kind of returning the consciousness. I opened my eyes and my consciousness began to flow
to the first reflection in the mirror. So now Im still shifting their consciousness around, Im still very
much maneuvering the trance state. And from there, returned to me sitting on the chair. Good grief,
so my conscious is finally comes back to me and I say, I felt amazed, refreshed, alive, incredible. I say,
I knew it was absolutely profound, knew in the sense presupposes, I dont know exactly what, but I
knew it was profound. And then I say indirectly, But I also knew I had no clue of all the things that
happened, nor all of the realizations that I had. What is that? Amnesia suggestions, Im blocking now all
of the suggestions I gave but I knew that my unconscious had all of it deep within.

Lets go even further, shall we, why not? And as the memories began fading away, so now Im just
fading it all away. I got up realizing Id take in another giant leap forward. What are you doing by
learning this and understanding and have it being decompiled like this, we taking steps forward, yes?
You see, all of it fits together like that, so then I say, And as I turn to take another look at myself in the
mirror and I just break.

Oh yeah, I was saying that I was roused from my revery by the sound of gentle brushing against the
outside of the car. And even though it was dark, I could see someone gently brushing off the snow to
look in. So, what I am doing now? Im going back to close the second story, right. So, I looked out the
window and a huge smile crossed my face. Thats where we left off so I just brought you right back to
there again and I give a surprise, It was my girlfriend. My father invited her to come along yada yada
So, I opened the door, and she jumped in on top of me yelling Surprise! Well hey, like every 16 year
olds dream to have his girlfriend jump on him. At night in the car and its dark, right, so, Im again
bringing this element of interest. So youre thinking along with it, Wow, how cool! Surprise, and was I
ever. Okay. Im also reorienting your consciousness strongly from a very altered deep state into
something that now is really grabbing your attention and getting you back to where we were. Im closing
these loops and your brain is going Oh thats what happened, fantastic.

And then I talked about being a magical evening, why? Because Im again wanting to really impress upon
you the idea that this is a magical experience. Then I went back and closed the first story. And really the
point of doing that was to kind of get back into the mindset of a smart aleck 16 year old and kind of have
you live in and feeling like, kind of chuckling, kind of Yeah. We all had some silly experiences when we
were young, didnt we? You know, kind of like that. And it really strongly reorients the person and just
kind of caps off all of those three stories really seriously hiding all of those suggestions very deeply at
the unconscious level, even though all of it mightve been done completely with their eyes open and all
kind of things.

So it was you see how it all fits together? Are you starting to get it? Its really amazing, and the thing I
want you to notice is how the surface structure of these stories is rather normal. I mean, could be
something, youre sitting around talking with a co-worker or youre out on a date, youre talking with
someone or youre talking with a person youre selling in the office, in their office for example. The
surface structure is kind of normal, its just a story, youre telling, about your life. But the deep structure
of these stories are very hypnotic.

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

So, story one being a teenager in my first car taking a drive and trying to outrun a cop. Its an engaging
story but yet it was designed to capture attention, overlap rep systems, age regress, all of which
reorients their consciousness to a different level and begins the trance. Story two, going on a family ski
trip to the mountains. Yet, it clearly was designed to lead the person through profound changes of
consciousness and begin to introduce much more altered states very directly, even though very covertly.
Like walking outside, hearing nothing, the cotton cocoon to amplify the silence of the snow. The sensory
deprivation, sitting without being able to see and theres no sound except the motor purring which is
entering into a state of reverie which is trance, right. Imagining different areas of my life could be
thought of as hallucination, weightlessness, again, a big trance phenomenon, with skiing, of course. And
single focused concentration going down the hills skiing, absolute trance. And if you ski, surf or do
anything, we have to maintain a strong sense of concentration as youre doing it, it will recognize what a
huge trance experience that really is. Okay, also not knowing how much time passed, so all of that was
accomplished in story two.

In story three, telling a story about a lesson that had a big impact on me. But the purpose of this was to
capture their attention. Its full on trance through confusion and overloading, expending whats thought
possible through multiple channels of suggestion via different pictures etcetera and the delivering of
very direct suggestions.

So, when you first heard all this, it mightve sounded like I was just telling you stories, and I was, though
for sake of being able to dissect all of these, I carefully wrote them out beforehand. Thats why I can
actually dissect these because if I hadnt, I wouldnt remember a thing that I said because I go very
strongly into an altered state myself, as will you when youre doing it right. There was absolutely nothing
haphazard about anything I said in those stories. And thats a major key to you being able to use stories
in covert hypnosis powerfully and effectively. So, you want to write out the story.

Now for me, I find the story that equals one of the examples or one of the qualities that I want, like the
first story that I wanted to grab your attention. So, I write out a story and then I think grabs the
attention and then I altered, I take creative license, I changed a few things here and there even if it
varies somewhat from the actual story. Im now considering myself a novel writer and Im writing out a
story designed to affect you the way I want. Once I get the story written out, then I go back and add in
all of the hypnotic elements and I tighten it up. I also will adjust it for how long I think I have to tell the
story and thats really important. You can easily write a story thatll go on for an hour. But you may only
have 5 minutes. So need to really look at being able to vary the length of these based on the time you
think you have.

Okay, so, what Im telling is that what you do needs to be planned very carefully. You should not just
listen to this lesson and then run out and do a three story looping thing that is designed to do all this, it
probably wont work very well. You should practice it doing it by yourself many, many, many times, over
and over and over until the stories just roll off your lips and all of the elements are there. You should be
able to buy yourself easily reorient for time, change it up for having longer or shorter time periods
etcetera. Remember, usually youll have shorter time periods, youll have shorter or lesser time periods,
then you will have longer time periods. So, thats something to consider.

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

The next thing that you should do is practice it on your trance buddies. So you should call up the person
youre exchanging trances with and you should absolutely do these with them. Sit down, start talking
with them, start in with the stories bring him back and away you go. Now, they know what youre doing,
right, just like, here you are listening to Module 5 Stories Of The Dark Side Of Covert Hypnosis. So, you
know that probably youre going to hear stories. Youll find that your trance buddies, if you do it well, if
you practiced enough on your own, they may not hear the suggestions at all. They may just go, Why are
you telling me those stories? Thats interesting. I never knew all that and you go, Yeah. Man, I want
to do some trance with you today and I forgot all about it, I got-- I dont why talking about stories we
didnt get a chance to. Now, they may go Yeah, yeah, yeah I felt the trance man but they may also go,
Yeah, too bad, Id like to practice some trance with you, lets get together again and do it quick. Itll
give you kind of an indication of how youre doing.

The stories need to be told emotionally. You must invest yourself 100% in the story. If youre dissociated
telling the story as if youre watching yourself telling the story, it will bore the crap out of whoever
youre telling it to. That might work but its not what you want to do, its not that you just want to be
boring. You want to engage them. You want to reach down inside them and grab them and suck them
in.

So, by getting a number of these stories done and written out and practiced by yourself and practiced
with trance buddies, youll be ready to pull them out of your hat on a moments notice and adjust them
as needed on the fly. But, trust me, I was not able to do this when I first started. I was blown away by
stories. I wanted to do them so bad. I was so intrigued that I found them so compelling and I wanted to
be able to do them. But I couldnt, why? Because I hadnt practiced doing it. Its a real mistake to think
that covert hypnosis is-- Well, all you have to do is study with someone whos great, listen to him for a
little bit and then away you go. No. Its not like that. You got to master these skills. Now you just saw
demonstrated strategy after strategy after strategy all jammed into three stories. And Ill bet you when I
was doing it, you didnt have a clue that all of that kind of stuff was being done. Even if you are an
experience hypnotist, maybe you caught some of the things but Ill bet as I went through them and
really tore them apart for you that you are like, Wow, I hadnt even thought of that.

I bet you even further that even youre an experienced hypnotist, you have not done the work to write
out these stories. Do you know how few people do? I mean, its just unbelievable. But if you will, there
will come a point when the stories will just click and youll get them, its like all of a sudden, a light
switch is thrown and youll be able to be talking with people and a story will pop into your head and
because youve rehearsed these and youll be able to just take the story and run with it, youll be able
naturally embed the elements of the story because you practiced doing it. And pretty soon youll have
practiced with 5 stories and 10 stories and 20 stories and 50 stories and pretty soon the elements will fit
in to any story you want to use. Pretty soon, your unconscious will have mastered the patterns that Im
talking about. And it will begin to insert them in for you all by itself. Thats the level that youre getting
to. Thats where you want to go and thats what were practicing to get to.

Alright, lets put this into practice, heres some ideas. Now, my stories will not be as powerful for you as
your stories will be. However, you can practice telling my stories if you want too. If you just flat think to

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

yourself, I dont have a bloody story in the world that I can tell. Okay, then use mine, at least it gives
you a start but you know what, thats a cop out, right? Id really like you to stop and search through your
history and find stories that are similar to my stories. Now, at a minimum they could be similar in the
intention of why I told the story and thats something I want you to start thinking about because were
going to explore that as we continue additional lessons in stories. So, similar to the intention of why I
told the story. Ive told these stories very concretely. Ive explained exactly why I told each other of the
stories, go back through, make notes or look at the transcript when it comes out and youll see exactly
why I told each story. Go back and listen to this again and again so you really get it, okay? Make notes
about why I told these stories.

Then think up a bunch of stories for each story I told at of your own life, stories that accomplish those
objectives. When I do this, what I intend to do is I write a sentence or two that would remind me about
each of the stories and Id recommend that you do the same. So, youre thinking back through your life
and you find an example of a story, something that happened, then you write a sentence or two about
keep finding more and more stories that would accomplish the same objective I had for my first story,
lets say. Once youve got a bunch of them then pick two or three that would do the job, two or three
that would follow the same basic sequencing that I used.

And then what you want to do is write them out, so you really want to write them out. Write them out
in their fullness, it will take you some time but write them out. Once you get them written, right then,
what you want to do is-- and again, let me just give you the sequence, okay. So, Im suggesting your first
story is about grabbing attention. Were going to do over lapping of rep system etcetera. The second
story is going to lead the person that youre influencing through altered states of consciousness but
quiet indirectly. And the third story will be even stronger trance orientation where like in this case, I
talked about an exercise that I had done.

So, you write them out to accomplish your objective. Then, what you want to do is go back through
them and add all of the different elements I explained to you as many as you can. Now, just go through
them and try to add. Add the different rep systems, add all the different things I talked about, okay?
Now, I want you to keep going through them. Keep going back through this lesson and then go through
your stories again. Look, your stories can be used in almost any context, if you have enough of them
ready to go. You need to be good at making them shorter or longer. And you need to be good at fitting
in all of these different pieces. Now, you dont have to fit them all in to every story. I put a bunch in but
you should practice doing that.

So after you add in all of the hypnotic elements to it, then take those and post them to the forum. That
way we can all take a look at it and you can get some feedback on them and you can get some ideas
about how they should be working. So, maybe I interrupted myself there but the first story should grab
attention, the second story leads the person that youre influencing through altered states of
consciousness and the third, even stronger trance orientation, remembering to do amnesia coming back
out etcetera. At the end of the third story, youre going to deliver the suggestions and then close story
three, then story two, then story one.

Dark Side of Covert Hypnosis Module 5

So, if you do this and you practice it, your skill with telling stories to covertly alter someones
consciousness and make them ripe to accept your suggestions will go through the roof. But again, I want
to tell you, it is really dependent on you doing the work. The strategy Ive given you will become a very
core strategy for you in many ways not just to do it as profoundly as I did here. You could do it quickly
and you could do it in a business setting. You could do it in personal setting. You do it in all kinds of
places but your ability to do that will depend upon how many times youve written out the stories and
have been able to integrate the different hypnotic parts of them.

Its such a core strategy. Ive built this whole lesson around it because it will stand you in such good
stead for the future, for business, for getting yesses, for whatever it is that you want to do. This ability is
just second to none. So, Ive outlined it for you, Ive done it to you, Ive broken it down, Ive showed you
exactly how to do it and now its in your hands. Now, I want you to go and create this work and post an
example of it. I dont care how good you think it is or how bad you think it is. It doesnt matter. We
wont ridicule it. Lets talk about it and lets help each other learn more by analyzing whats there.

So, like I said, this should be a very core strategy for inducing trance covertly through stories. Alright, so,
well bring this lesson to a close but theres a lot more coming on stories. Weve just started the process.
I have a whole bunch more that Im going to go through with stories. I just want to break it up a little bit.
So the lesson isnt so all fired long. And you can actually get busy and put this to work. I really want you
to put this to work, its really important. If you dont do the work, it will be interesting but you will not
have the skill. So, please its important enough for you to be in this program. Please make it important
enough for you to do the work and get the skill. Alrighty then, Ill talk with you real soon. Lots more
coming on stories, stay tuned. Talk to you again real soon. Bye, bye.
