Tablature

We are about to take our first steps into the world of reading
music in standard notion. But first a brief look at tablature.

Tablature is a form of music notation that indicates fingering

rather than musical pitches.

Example of a note in standard notation and equivalent tabulature:

The notation instructs us to play the note G. The tablature

instructs us to play the third highest pitch string open.
