Maintenance
EverView 7500 C-Arm X-Ray Imaging System
5.1 Overview
This section describes routine performance checks that you can perform to ensure that the
system is operating correctly. If problems are found during these checks , contact a qualified
service engineer to troubleshoot and repair the system.
Whenever the system is used, the operator must check that the unit is in good condition,
particularly:
That the surface condition of the mobile parts is undamaged and that there are no
sharp parts or projections.
That the transport components, particularly the wheels, are in good condition and
that their attachments offer no danger, and that there is no wear.
If in doubt, the operator must inform immediately the appropriate technical department and
only use the system with greatest care before any repairs required are carried out.
Prior to performing any of the performance checks in this section, it is important that potential
hazards associated with these tasks are understood. Review the Introduction and Safety
chapter of this manual before proceeding.
Circuits inside the equipment use voltages that are capable of causing
WARNING serious injury or death from electrical shock. Do not remove the covers or
perform any types of service task.
Move the system into a safe operating area prior to beginning these checks and observe all
radiation safety precautions. The performance checks should be performed as often as
equipment use and circumstances warrant. Extensive use warrants increasing the frequency
of performance checks. In addition circumstances such as accidents during transport or
exposure to excessive fluids may warrant that performance checks be performed to verify
operation of the equipment.

8.4.2 Measurement
1. Before starting a measurement, always reset the display unit to zero using the RESET
button.
2. Make an exposure and read the value. The top line displays dose value, and the bottom
line displays time and doserate value. Press TIME/DOSERATE button to switch between
the time and doserate display.
3. For multiple exposures, the dose value will accumulate. In this case it is necessary not to
reset the system between the sub-exposures.
4. When the system is switched off, the measured value will be lost.
