1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.

Some
people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced
themselves with many griefs.

The myth the Bible already broke, we people are lazy to read and understand Gods Word
and by the end we end up being taught lies.

Myths about being rich and the poor:

the poor say the rich will not go to Heaven

The rich say, the poor people are sinners, or they are cursed

The rich get their riches from Satan

The poor or those in poverty will all go to heaven

When you give a lot and live a sinful life you will be saved by your works

Important Points to note:

God created the Heaven and everything in it (be kingdoms, families, trees, wisdom.,
knowledge, gold and silver and anything you may think of)-Genesis 1:1

Satan did not create anything apart from stilling everything in the world (he still people,
knowledge, and wealth and dark powers) remember satan tempting Jesus that if he bowed
down to him would give him the whole world? He is a thief (Matthew 4:9)

Nothing good or bad happens without Gods consent or knowledge; He knows the people
who earn things rightly and wrongly Lamentations 3:37 Who can speak and have it
happen if the Lord has not decreed it? Let us remember He has done so many things that are
too big for our small heads, the life of Jesus on the Cross. Read it, and when the devil will be
chained then later will be unchained again, you may ask why? And the answer He knows
alone

This topic is not for the faint heart but I believe by the Grace of God we will all understand
and Praise God with our wealth.

Money root of all evil:

Prostitution, drunkenness, theft, murder, envy, jealous, wars, lies, and what evil you may
think-corruption and oppression of justice.

Money as a root of good life: (house rentals, bills, food, transport, communication all need money.

Ecclesiastes 10:19 ESV: Bread is made for laughter, and wine gladdens life, and money answers
everything. (Money answers all the good and bad)
Money is needed but at the same time is being evil- what do we do?

Money is evil when?:

When you start believing that your money answers everything

When you do not get it in a right way, when you get it sinfully-killing, corruption,
prostitution, lying

When you come to start glorifying yourself because of your money, your wealth

When you start calling others directly or indirectly to praise you because of money you have

When you do not care about the Word of God and His commandments you only care about
your wealth and money

Ecclesiastes 5:10 ESV

He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his
income; this also is vanity.

Matthew 6:24 ESV

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will
be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit
their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

Money is Good when?

When you use it in the right way to glorify God, take care of yourself and others around you.
(Use the money to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ, help the needy)

John 12:6

He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of
the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

Luke 8:3
Joanna the wife of Herod's household manager Chuza, Susanna, and many others. These
women were ministering to them out of their own means.

What are principles to clean money ?

Proverbs 13:11 ESV Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little
will increase it.

Hebrews 13:5 ESV Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you
have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
 Proverbs 13:4 ESV The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the
diligent is richly supplied.

Proverbs 14:23 ESV In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 ESV And to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and
to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before
outsiders and be dependent on no one.

Failing to earn food or get a living is a sin: (if you are physically able and well)

1 Timothy 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their
own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 ESV For even when we were with you, we would give you this
command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among
you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and
encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.

Proverbs 21:25 ESV The desire of the sluggard kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.

Proverbs 6:6-8 ESV Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without
having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in
harvest.

Why we need to get money and how to keep it?

We have all understood that money is needed in our daily lives to pay our bills whether for our
homes, education, hospitals, taxes and helping the needy and no man is willing to pay something
when he knows tomorrow will need it, this is why we need to pray for abundance because we are
compelled to bills which if we fail to pay we get tempted and end up sinning.

1. We need money to settle bills

2. We need money so that we do not become slaves, always begging

3. We need money to leave inheritance for our families and generation

4. We need money to give back support others who cannot earn it,

5. Timothy 6:17-19 Command those who are rich with things of this world not to be proud. Tell
them to hope in God, not in their uncertain riches. God richly gives us everything to
enjoy. Tell the rich people to do good, to be rich in doing good deeds, to be generous and
ready to share. By doing that, they will be saving a treasure for themselves as a strong
foundation for the future. Then they will be able to have the life that is true life.

James 2:14-17 ESV What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not
have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in
daily food, and one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, without giving
 them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not
have works, is dead.

Proverbs 13:22 A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but a
sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.

Money needs discipline:

Just like we have learnt that money can answer many things but it is not life- it is not the
answer to go to heaven, no matter how much you may acquire , the critical skill is to get a
line of being satisfied so that we do not lose the principal and the commandments of God to
Love Him only with all our heart and also to love others, there is no law of loving money or
wealth which means it is not vital for our own salvation.

Matthew 6:33KJV -33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.

Acts 8:20 ESV But Peter said to him, May your silver perish with you, because you thought
you could obtain the gift of God with money!

Luke 12:15 ESV And he said to them, Take care, and be on your guard against all
covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.

2 Corinthians 9:8-11 ESV And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all
sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, He
has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. He who
supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing
and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be
generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

Finally let us have a good purpose before we ask God why we think we deserve to be given
wealth or money.

God is free to give out, He is challenging us that we do not receive because we do not ask
HIM or we ask with wrong motives:

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to
you.

For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will
be opened.

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you
quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.

James 4:3

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend
what you get on your pleasures.

God needs us to follow His will and commandments and the blessings flow to us:

1 John 3:22
and we will receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do
what is pleasing in His sight.

1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us.

I do not see any hard thing hear why we should fail to claim our riches from our Father who act in
Heaven, He has given us clues on what to do to claim our share, even to our earthly masters, our
employers, if you are not following the company rules and regulations you cannot be given a salary
increment or promotion and the employer if finds you disobedient may end up firing you for not
doing his will. So do we only follow the principles of man, do we only aim to please man and not
follow God and try in all our best to do His will?

It is my prayer that we will all be blessed and never curse each other but stay a blessing to each
other as we all try our best by His grace and our faith to Please God in all our endeavors.
