Primary Skills:
3 to 5 years as SAP SD Functional Consultant
2 to 5 years of domain experience in Sales & Marketing of FMCG, Pharma, Chemical industries
Experience in minimum 1-2 E2E SAP Implementations and 2/3 support projects particularly in ECC 6.0
OTC, ATP, Pricing, Rebates, CIN, Transportation, Logistics Execution, User Exits.
Experience in the complete SD business processes is a must
Experience on integration with other functional modules is a must
Experience on specific training assignments is preferred
Desirable Skills:
Willingness to travel within India and abroad for projects
Willingness to work out of Bangalore as base location and relocate to any location on need
Job Description
- SAP Sales & Distribution knowledge is required. Must have the ability to quickly learn and
understand custom developments and configurations that have been made to a highly customized
SAP environment in the Sales and Distribution area. This person would also need to be able
coordinate smaller support issues and new enhancement requests.
- Create and analyze existing functional specifications as needed for new and existing custom
developments to SAP.
- Develop test conditions and expected results based on the user or system requirements.
- Extensive background in script execution, documenting results, resolving issues and seeing them
through to completion.
- Must be able to perform root cause analysis in SAP SD environment with extensive custom
developments.
- Ability to facilitate resolution of production support requests by working directly with key business
stakeholders.
- Liaison with the business organizations such as Customer Service and Sales departments and the
IS/IT department.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with other functional IS/IT teams (both internal and
external) related to support, custom developments or testing.
- Develop alternative solutions to a problem, evaluate each solution and then recommend the best
alternative based on both the technical and business impacts.
- Ability to work with customer to gather, define, and document Business Requirements.
- Proactively identify and report on risks, issues and dependencies of assigned tasks/ projects.
- The successful candidate has an IT degree or several years experience in a large and international
environment on a similar position.
- Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and workload to support the goals of
the team.
- Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and self-manage.

Role Summary:
The SAP Solution Architect - Sales & Distribution will be responsible for leading process and
system design for the areas of Order Management, Pricing, Billing. In this role you will
integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage
complex issues within area of expertise, and own the Global design & deployment of the
Order Management space.
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with Gas Power Systems - Process Excellence, Finance teams to define business
process requirements, preparation of scope of SAP Sales and Distribution Module
Implementation
Serve as an architect in Sales & Distribution process area and perform Gap Analysis.
Future Process Maps, Business process blue prints.
Be responsible for schedule, scope, quality, and resource requirements.
Support, advise, assist, guide, and resolve problems for business partners and
program team members.
Design and Build a global solution, in line with Corporate Enterprise Standards (ES)
as well as additional standards required by GE Power & Water & other Shared
Services teams.
Ensure conformance to system architecture, standards, and practices.
Act as a change agent for business processes.
Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner to promote their use.
Coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required.
Lead in the evaluation / implementation of third party software solutions.
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE business relationships to maximize
best practice sharing and team effectiveness to deliver and support quality initiatives.
Coordinate with legacy system team on data conversion strategy and execution
