What is a pronoun?
A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a
person, place, or thing.

Examples:

Personal Pronouns: The word that takes the place of a

person speaking, being spoken to, or being spoken of

Examples:

Person speaking:

They are playing in the park
Possessive Pronouns: The word tells us who or what owns
something

Examples:

Speaking:
These are our
books.

 Indefinite Pronouns: Replaces a group of people or things
that are not exact or specific
