Citete cu atenie textul urmtor, apoi rspunde la ntrebri.
Pisica domestic este un mamifer care face parte din familia felinelor Felidae. Este un animal
carnivor care trieste n preajma omului de cel puin 3500 de ani, fiind folosit pentru a ine soarecii la
distan de gospodrii. Cu toate c este un animal domestic, pisica nu isi pierde niciodat abilitatea de a
tri n slbaticie.
Pisica este un animal de talie mic, iar scheletul ei este format din 250 de oase. Coloana
vertebral este foarte flexibil, avnd n continuarea ei o coada ce are rol in mentinerea echilibrului.
Labele anterioare (din fa) ale pisicii se termin cu cinci degete, pe cnd labele posterioare (din
spate), de o lungime mai mare, au doar patru degete. Muschii sunt foarte flexibili si puternici, oferind
animalului mobilitate. Pisica are simurile foarte dezvoltate. Auzul pisicii este mult mai bun dect cel al
unui om, iar mirosul de patruzeci de ori mai dezvoltat dect al omului. Vzul este simtul principal al
unei pisici.
