inthecountryandhavesomethingtoshare,pleasedoso.

Inordertopurchasealcoholattheseretailoutlets,youmusthaveavalidROPLiquorPermit.Thesepermitscan
beobtainedfromtheROP,andinMuscat,youhavetogotothespecialofficeattheRuwiPoliceStation.Inorder
togetthepermit,youneedthefollowing:

monthlybasis,payableinfullatthetimeofapplication,soaRO100monthlypermitwillcostyouRO96
(100x0.04x24)anditwilllastyoufor2years.

Thetypicalcostforacaseof24bottlesofHeinekenisaroundRO13,withmostcasesofbeercominginataround
thatpricepointRO1015acase.Bottlesofspiritsandwinearealsoinabundantsupply,withevenbottlesof
VerveCliquotbubblyavailableforRO30apop.Bottlesofwine(andboxesforthatmatter)startinpricearound
RO3andrangeupwards,withsomespecialbottlesgoingforupwardsofRO20abottle.AbottleofbrandedVodka
